  1. From my first appointment at the weight management department, until my last weigh in at the hospital just before surgery, I lost 43 pounds. How about you?
  2. Yes in pain too! I called the doc yesterday and he said I could go in for some fluids. I decided to try to see what I could do yesterday. It doesn't help that my 2 of my prescriptions were not covered and I was waiting on my paycheck until yesterday. Now I have all the meds and we made a quick store run. I still think I might go in for the fluids today.
  3. I know you guys will have ideas. This is day 5 and I feel awful! I still can only keep down clear fluids(about 16 oz per day) though my post op diet is full liquids. I can barely gag down my medicine. I am so weak and not thinking straight. I felt really good when I left the hospital but ever since it has been downhill.
  4. I would not do it. I think it would be a slippery slope!
  5. What kind of heart issue did they find?
  6. I chose the sleeve because I have seizure disorder and migraines and also a complicated surgical history with severe adhesions. So number one I need to be able to absorb my medicine and number two my intestines are already scarred . Everyone's case is different.
  7. I am nervous an worried and we are low on funds of course pay day is not until after surgery. So I am trying to plan everythng out for them. I can't find my 24 hours before surgery instructions . oh geez it is time to get my son up for school and the dog needs a bath...
  8. Every doctors plan is different. When I come home I will be on full liquids which includes the yogurt and milk but not the ricotta. Are you on full liquids or only the protein shakes?
  9. glitter lips glitter lips oh my sexy littlle glitter lips!
  10. My surgery is on Tuesday, I will let you know.
  11. It really sucks. For some people it gets better but for me it has not. Each day has sucked just as much. I have not even lost much weight for all the suffering. Day 12 and I have only lost 7 pounds on this pre op liquid stupidness.
  12. I am trying to smile with my glittery blue lipstick on!
  13. Liquids for 6 weeks, you are a champ! Why are they making you wait almost another month? How are dealing with the new date? Hang in there!
  14. Art I can always count on you for the great comments thanks! The reason I lost the weight so far was because I had a goal to get to surgery.
  15. Since July I have lost 36 lbs by following the nutritionists intructions and increasing my exercising(still not enough). Now family members and friends are saying well geez if you can lose that much in four months you really should not have surgery just keep up what you are doing. My surgery is scheduled for Tuesday. I wish someone in my family besides my husband would get just how important this is to me.
  16. That is Amazing the pounds that is and the support you have is a number 1! How lucky you are!
  17. For our pre op we are required to use this one but afterwards we are free to choose. My pre op diet is two weeks some people have to do a 4 week pre op diet.
  18. That is good news! I bet the tests were no fun though!
  19. Does any one have to use these? We are required to use it and it is very expensive. I have been onthe preop diet now for 10 days and the flavors of shake soup and pudding are not bad over all. Just costly. I don't see many people using them on here.
