  2. Will you please add me to fb? Thanks! kgrassmeyer@comcast.net
  3. PLEASE share the gym info...how did you find it? Thanks!
  4. Thank you, Fran! Weather permitting we could walk during our gatherings at one of the many trails! The trail around Eastlake (128th & York) is about 1.75 miles. We could meet there until we find a location. I'll also check with my church at 120th & Lowell,
  5. This post was so timely and touching for me. I am heading into Spring Break tomorrow...four days alone, and have already been planning my secret runs to McDonalds, Krispy Kreme...I'm so ashamed. I truly feel like such a fraud...I had surgery June 18, 2013. Lost 19 PreOp and about 30-40 since then, depending on the day. Every single day people tell me how great I look, and I want to scream, "I have not lost one pound since Labor Day and I still can't get below 250 pounds!" I am so grateful for the 50-60 loss, but I am no where near finished, and there has not been one single binge-free day since then. I have tried counseling, support group, anti-depressants, and I cannot get this addiction under control!!! I will read your posts 24-7 if I have to to get back on track!!!

  7. Went to a support group last week...someone who had surgery in October has lost 70 pounds; meanwhile, I had surgery in June and still weigh what I weighed on Labor Day. Only lost 30 since surgery, 49 overall. Not complaining, but I know why I'm not losing...I can (and do) eat anything and everything. Can't seem to quiet the cravings...

  12. Yes!!! Made back the $15 my first purchase!
  13. SW: 308 Day of Surgery: 289 06-18-13 Current: 255 I'm a slow loser...OA in both knees...debilitating for at least 10 years. Got knee injections a month ago. For the first time since high school I walked 1.25 miles today. Just loaded Map My Walk! Maybe adding this exercise will jump start my loss again after a month-log stall!
  14. 56-it took me a little longer than normal to overcome the anesthesia...couple extra hours in recovery, six weeks of attention & memory issues, but after 10+ weeks I'm back to my normal forgetfulness & word retrieval issues!
  15. The funniest remark (49 lbs. down) for me has been...what have you done to your face? I think she thought I had a facelift!! Said my face looked so sexy!! Hahahahaha!

  17. Dr. Frank Chae works with Kaiser patients in Denver...incredibly experienced, knowledgable, supportive; I can't speak highly enough of my experiences with him throughout this process.
  18. I made it, liquified it in a Magic Bullet and ate it with everything...eggs, chicken, refried beans...so yummy and fresh!
  19. So...I was sleeved day before you (06-18-13) and have been eating at least 1/2 personal watermelon every day for weeks...can't seem to get enough! I track it, but perhaps that's why you've lost 65 and I'm only at 40. Hmmm...
