  3. What's up Sept buddies? How is everyone feeling? What phase of your diet are you on? I am scheduled to start blended next week but jumped the gun a little today and blended some homemade turkey chili. It was awesome and I didn't have any problems with it. Have a follow up with my bariatric Dr. tomorrow. Looking forward to having something besides liquids next week! Since a week before surgery when I started my liquid diet I am down right at 40 pounds. Very happy with that.

  8. I don't think all surgeons use staples. But it's no biggie. They only stay in a week and it isn't painful at all when they remove them. Takes 5 minutes. How is everybody feeling? I get to start blended food on Oct 8th. Can't wait!!

  11. I have my staples removed Friday as well. I started full liquids yesterday. So far so good.
  12. I had my surgery at Baylor Trophy Club. Great staff there! They were fantastic.
  13. Hey there. I am 5 days post op and wondering if anyone else is in their first week from the Dallas/Ft Worth area. I had my surgery 9/19 by Dr Holden out of Dr David Kim's office. Everything has gone well so far. Started my full liquids today and tolerated them well. Haven't felt this full in a while! So if you're in the area let me know. I'd love to find some people around that are going through this journey that I can stay in touch with and hopefully compare notes!

  15. I was definitely weaker yesterday. Couldn't walk quite as far. I am starting full liquids today so I'll be able to get more protein in. Looking forward to that to build up some strength. Other than that everything is going well. I go see my surgeon on Friday and get my staples removed.

  17. Hey guys. I was sleeved on 9/19 as well! All good so far. Not too sore. Was able to walk almost a mile this evening. Didn't want to over do though with not much protein on board since I'm still on clear liquids. So far so good, good luck to everyone!
