  1. You look like a naughty librarian with those glasses in your hand. LOL Curvy, gorgeous, LOVE the bangs! Keep on keepin' on, SoCal!
  2. No fair, Pretty Chica! i think it's time to tell your SO that if he (or she) doesn't start to put out, you're going to invest in some very loud toys.
  3. AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!! Flan! LMAO! Never again!!!
  4. Totally!!! I've actually had dreams of cutting it off. Very weird dreams.
  5. That shizz is fo' real, yo.
  6. Then again, it could just be bigcountryab's new profile pic: I told him if he'd had his glasses on, he'd have been a shoo-in for the Playgirl Big Bang Theory desk calendar!
  7. If I didn't have so much work this week, I would go with you SeaGirl! I'm not even kidding. I was just in Mexico for mine and I would love to accompany you now that your "confi-don't" has bailed. I can tell you this: I was there by myself and was absolutely fine. Plus, I positively relished the alone time at the hotel. Be glad that you won't have to take care of your friend while you're there (as it sounds from your post, you would have had to). If you haven't already, join the 2013 Mexico Sleevers group on Facebook and post throughout your surgery experience. You will find tons of support there!
  8. I feel you, Disco! No matter how small I've been, it always looks like my lower tummy has a boner. A "FUPA," as the kids are calling it nowadays. I call it my "belly-rection". My pants literally hang off of it, even when they've gotten so loose in the butt and thighs I'd swear they were about to drop. When I push it in with my hands, it changes my entire physique and I don't even look heavy anymore. I'm so sick of carrying fat there, if the pooch is still there when I'm at goal, it's off to the surgeon I go!
  9. Yup! My libido, too, has been MIA for years and now not even 3 weeks post-op, well, it's making up for lost time! Now, to find someone (or two, or three) to share it with....

  11. UK Cathy - do you have a link for that chart you could post? Great info!
  12. Ew. There are people with PhDs working at McDonald's, Vitamin Shoppe. Don't tell me you didn't have any better candidates!
  13. I have no idea what this post is about; I am blinded by the lack of spelling errors.
  14. I'm thinking when people ask me what I'm doing to lose weight, my line will be, "The opposite of everything I did to get fat!" and if anyone who knows about my surgery dares corner me with, "You took the easy way out," my response shall be, "Yep, just like my mom did with her cancer by choosing two years of chemo and radiation. She could have just gone vegan and smoked pot."
  15. Yes, I agree, this would be great! Some people use quotes as their profile pics and I would love to be able to read them!

  17. I think this is an interesting point, Beach Lover. How much change in others' attitudes towards/treatment of us is due to our physical transformation, and how much is due to our own reaction to the transformation (i.e., gaining self-esteem, expressing ourselves, learning to set boundaries with those who may have taken advantage before). You've done a great job, Chris! I'm glad you have found TRUE friends in the process.
  18. Shut........up! NO WAY are all three of those pictures you. Looks like a family collage with you and your two grandmothers. Same beautiful skin, same sparkle in the eyes, different generations. I think it's time to change your profile pic, my dear (might I suggest the one of you in the pink shirt?). Looking gorgeous. Thank you so much for sharing!
  19. Good for you! You may have lost the weight, but she's the clear loser in this. I hope all that $h!t on the table is hers, right before you threw it from a tall building. Do you have any before pics?
  20. I have literally had frozen yogurt every day since being 2 days post-op. My coordinator even took me to get some to ward of a yeast infection from the antibiotics. I've felt fine on it. Some days it's the only lactose my body can handle.
  21. Sorry you had to go through the hassle, PrincessSleeve, but glad you're o.k. with their decision. It sounds like you have a very healthy attitude about it. What's your plan now?
  22. Thank you for doing this! There are some that have to do with diet that I've come across...when people refer to eating a certain (acronym) way. Still haven't figured out what those mean.
  23. I'm a sneezer too! I go into a sneezing fit if I have too much sugar or any dairy. I think it's a form of inflammation and rejection. I'm glad you asked this question. My sleeve has been very picky and I'm finding it difficult to stay full as well. Thank you, OP and subsequent posters, for the good ideas!
