  1. Hmmmm.... it plays when I click it. Or you could click on the link and watch it on YouTube.
  2. Rev up that Dolorian! My latest YouTube offal has hit the ethernet waves and boy, is it a blast from the past. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LR55jP2gSPE Part deux coming soon!
  3. Got my free Clif Bar in the mail today! The email reply I received from Mio claims they aren't offering samples now, but may do so when a new product comes out.
  4. According to her blog, Jen is actually with Ben and has been for a few years. Not sure if they're married, but they've bought a house together. The "lesbian life partner" comment directed at Monique in the Acknowledgements (not epilogue) is in reference to their motorized cart dramatics (i.e., a joke).
  5. Found these same Parmesan crisps on netrition.com for $4.99 a bag! There's a $4.95 flat shipping rate, which is worth it if you buy anything else off the website.
  6. NINE GRAMS OF Protein IN PORK RINDS?!? Thank you, SJ; my eyes have been opened! And you haven't had any issues with tummy upset or acid reflux with either of these?
  7. Thanks for the clarification, GG!
  8. I couldn't figure out how to do thumbnails - only full-size.
  9. If I look like this at my goal weight, I will buy a much more flattering swimsuit!
  10. My dog has never been happier. And his farts have never been smellier...
  11. You look hot! In a virtual, plastic-coated kind of way.
  12. Not a problem, Stacy. It's actually good to get the same recommendation from two different people! I noticed these are spendy on Amazon - have you tried other brands of parmesan chips? Did you have any issues with lactose intolerance? Thanks!
  13. Ashince, from my understanding slider foods are those that are not the healthiest, but that you can manage to overeat. For example, eating an entire delivery pizza over the course of a day by having a slice at a time. If anyone has a clearer or more informed explanation, please elucidate!
  14. What I wouldn't give to have a TJ's on the southern Oregon coast! Tell me more about their grilled chicken: What section do you get it in? Is it sliced into strips or deli-style?
  15. Pork rinds??? I can honestly say I never would have thought of that! I always thought of them as junk food because of the high fat content. Have you found them to be a quality source of protein?
  16. Thanks, bobheist! I'm having trouble viewing the ingredients because my computer's acting up - are they entirely cheese? I've been having lactose intolerance issues since surgery and haven't worked my way up to cheese yet. Wonder if I'd do o.k. with them.
  17. This is something I'd be interested in seeing here too! I don't see an affiliate specifically dedicated to DS, Artsy Pants, unless you meant WLSBoards.com?
  18. Love, love, love TJ's but the nearest one is almost 3 hours away. Next time I'm in the vicinity I will check these out! In the meantime, I'm wondering if Mary's Gone Crackers would work. They are also rice flour-based.
  19. Thank you so much for the suggestion! This is exactly the kind of thing I was looking for. I just ordered a 6-pack sample box.
  20. I don't have a NUT. That's why I'm asking here.
  21. I'm nearly six weeks post-op and would really like a vehicle for all this egg/tuna/salmon salad and hummus. My meal plan says nothing about crackers except for unsalted Saltines weeks 5 & 6. I'm skeptical about Saltines because I used to binge on them and haven't had refined flour for almost two months now. When were you able to successfully incorporate crackers and what kinds worked better with the sleeve early on? Do you know of any sleeve-friendly crackers/bread substitutes (I can't have raw veggies yet)? I'm not concerned about grams of carbs, just the risk of awakening the refined carb monster, and the pain that comes with pointy foods. Thank you!
  22. Interesting article on chemicals and additives allowed in the U.S. that are banned in other countries. 8 Foods We Eat That Other Countries Ban I would argue that the word "Food" should be in quotation marks!
  23. If ordering through the Quest website, you can choose any 12 bars you want (including the Cravings) and get the sample pack price. Use coupon code: mixbar
  24. Ah, I see it now! Just had to scroll down a bit. As my mother would say when I claimed I couldn't find something, "How hard did you look?"
  25. This is good to know. Unfortunately, I don't live near a GNC and the only buying option I see on their website is whole boxes.
