  1. Me too! I am scheduled for Thursday. I am a nervous wreck. I can't think of anything other than the surgery. Will I lose weight? Will everything go smooth? Will I really feel full? Will I load my hair? Will I have regrets? All those questions and then some. I am keep myself busy by planning for post-op. I have packed a small bag with the essentials and I feel ready but oh so nervous. Let's keep in touch please. We can track our progress together. I wish you the very best.

  5. I want to know from the veterans if this holds true. I was told the same about straws, but have read others say they use them all the time.
  6. Thanks again for the feedback. Is Miralax something we can take post-op as well? If so, I will invest in some also.
  7. These posts will come in handy. I am on day five of the preop diet. I am consuming about 60 to 80 (Premier Protein) grams of protein per day and nothing but liquid. This morning the constipation was hell! Never had anything like this. I am starting Benefiber and stool softener today. I am so glad we have this site to share and thankful to you all. Surgery is next week and I am happy I found out about this before surgery.

  11. I start my liquid diet tomorrow. Cold Turkey too. I was set for surgery March 9th so I was starting liquids on the 23rd. Well this morning I received the call that my surgery was moved up a week. Now liquids start tomorrow! I am so ready to get this going. Best of luck to all of us.
  12. I have been scheduled for surgery for March 9th. This morning I received a call from the surgery coordinator asking if I was ok with moving it to March 2nd. "Yes!!!!!" I am so excited and happy about how quickly and smoothly this entire process has been. I started this journey back in November 2016. I start my 2 week full liquid diet tomorrow~! I am so ready.

  15. Congratulations! I received my call on Thursday for approval surgery date is set for March 9th! It's incredible how the fear shifts from worry about not getting approved, to "OMG, this is really happening!!" We will look back on this and be so happy with our decision. Best of luck to you.
