  1. NO WAY... You can take my soda pop but you can NOT have my caffeine. I think that is BS. Most of us are tea or coffee drinkers.
  2. I don't think you realize how many people apply for that show. I would take the Riviera, hands down.
  3. http://www.zappos.com/n/es/d/722000366/page/1.html free shipping too!
  4. New Balance walking shoes. Available at Kohl's for a decent price. Although my Asics are the ones that have held up the longest for running. But NB are more comfy for walking.
  5. Oh my gosh. Are you sure this isn't like The "everything under $10" store? You have bought stuff from here before??? I am excited if so... hubby gonna kill me though.
  6. Ohhhhhhhhhh, but you should all get a load of my parents scale!! It is EVIL!!! IT TALKS! And it is loud.... I slip on after going potty... it is digital so it takes a few moments to think.... then in a booming voice says, "YOUR WEIGHT IS ....." The first time I used this thing was at the Christmas party. ROOM full of people who all heard this horrid thing yell out my weight. I was humiliated when I came back in the room and my mom says (as everyone is there), "oh good honey, you lost a pound". AAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHH! All I could do is smile and say, "yeah, and I was fully clothed, so I am doing good"... smile smile smile... reminder: dismantle digital talking scale.
  7. Ahhhhhhhhh, I am even wearing pink today.
  8. Let the good times roll..........
  9. There is a ton of information already posted on this subject. If you look in the first blue band from the top there is a button, "search". Type in "slippage" and A LOT of posts will come up. Try reading those, and if you still have questions, then maybe someone can answer them.
  10. Yep, my nutritionist wasn't very good. Just a formality as I see it. They don't say anything that I didn't already know from the gazzillion diet plans/books/videos/etc.
  11. Okay, if you say so but I am telling ya that no one mentioned Sangria anything at the last bash! (2005 one). Maybe that toxic tea had something to do with it.
  12. Personally, I would want a more experienced surgeon. And, I am wondering what article you read as I didn't think there have ever been any lapband fatalities. Do you know where you saw it?
  13. Tshirts. I sooooooo need to get rid of them.
  14. My opinion: (worth about 2 cents) No the band does not make you eat better/healthy. Yes the band does make me think of food less. Yes the band does control my portions. Yes I do feel satisfied after my meals. Yes the band does require exercise and practicing self control (ie diet) for maximum results.
  15. My sister did Gastric Bypass. Not the same doctor but the same surgical group I believe. I could be wrong though. Are they up off of University Drive? Yes, I moved out of the "armpit of america" about 6 years ago to Phoenix, Arizona. And praising the gods ever since. I still have some of my best friends there and the crappy rental slumlord houses so I do go back about once or twice a year. OMG, you moved from Florida to Canton? Geez, what a culture shock you must be in. Are you from a small town in FL? I lived in Peoria in adult years, but I went to Washington High across the river. Graduated in '90 Have you thought about St. Louis or Chicago for WLS options??? Only a few hours!
  16. I must be on some good drugs because I swear I have NEVER heard of this theme! Plus, I wasn't at the 2004 bash, my first bash was the 2005 bash. But all the same, ...party over there, party over here.... ((doing a booty shakin dance)) I get the Voo room! And can I vote for end of July?
  17. Omg! Well, I think this takes me out of this whole conversation. You are being an idiot now and I am just not going to give you any more satisfaction of my well educated time.
  18. Wait... when is all this? Did I miss something?
  19. Hangers.... Every time I go in there I need more of them!!!
  20. Yes, my sister had her surgery there I believe. She did very well. That is where I am from originally. Still own a couple rental houses there too. Do you live in Peoria?
  21. My good friend just had her baby. For the gift, I wanted to be different. I bought a package at the spa for "maternal massage and pampering". SHE LOVED IT!!!
  22. Funny this came up...Just to let you know, we have NOT wiped out TB. Matter of fact, tonight I arrested a 45 year old man for trespassing with Active Tuberculosis. Oh, and to top it off... when I contacted him he was pissing in a gas station parking lot.
  23. Peoria, Illinois? Or Peoria, Arizona?
  24. Okay, I can't help it... had to add my picture! yahooooooooooooooooooooo
  25. Don't drink. Had a sip of Lisa's Toxic Tea once and I thought I would fall over.
