  1. I am a very picky eater any way... I don't like anything that ever lived under water, or yogurt. I have a very big problem with textures. I am trying to get over this! I really am very picky about eggs also, but have been getting over that. I will try to get some yogurt to try (my son likes it so if I don't it won't go to waste). I think the soup think will work for me, as long as the restaurants have soup in the middle of summer its like 110 degrees here. lol I don't plan on staying in a hotel; I think we will be staying with family so it is just the drive there and back. If nothing else I can order a glass of milk and take in my carnation instant breakfast in. Thanks for all your help!

  2. Thanks for sharing! I am 6 days post op and the thought of what did I do to myself has for sure crossed my mind... This helps me!! Congrats on you success!! I have seriously dry skin patches before surgery so I am sure it will not get better after. have you ever tried utter baum? Like what they use on real cows utters... the kind they have at Wal-Mart does not do it for me. The stuff at the farm supply store is the only thing that I can use to help for my skin. IDK if it will work for you but it is pretty cheap and might be worth a shot. Best of luck to you!

  3. The carnation instant breakfast and milk has 13 grams of protein as long as I can get 5 in a day that is 65 grams. I have been working 12-15 hours everyday at work and am working on Saturday and am on call on Sunday. I am not "hungry" so much as just craving food. the craving usually goes away in a few minutes... my belly has been rumbling lately. I am going to so to Sam's and get some premiere shakes and see what else I can find for my last week of pre-op and first week of post-op. Thanks for the help!
