I'm lucky I told every one before I got that I was having the surgery and everyone has been supportive. And everyone just have questions, I get all the time are you still not hungry. I've gotten a lot of complements everyone seems amazed how quick the weight is coming off. One of my co-workers keep staring at me last week and said OMG your head has even got smaller. Sorry that your co-works are such a holes, but all that matters that your happy with yourself.

    VSG Urban Legends

I must be an urban legend I don't even have head hunger but I'm only 18 days pos op and hoping it stays that way. Wired thing is that food smells so good now I can smell bacon a mile away. Only thing is I don't want any it's so freaky.

    Robotic VSG

You have to be stupid not to know that any surgery comes with risk, but I have a problem when hospital are pushing this surgery just to recoup cost. An the reason for getting the machine in the first place is not because they think it will benefit patients. But to compete with other hospital and it scary that the maker of this machine is doing all of the pushing, not the medical community. You might want to do a little more research your self no one is saying the machine is bad. But there are issues that need to be looked into.

    Robotic VSG

Brain Williams did a story about Robotic surgery last night on rock center. I would advise you watch it before doing a robotic surgery. Not trying to scare you but I don't think they tell people all the risk that can come from this.

lets be honest, 1 week post op

Wow I don't know how anyone can get food down during the first week, I could barely get Water down and Protein shakes were out of the question. But I did have farina 2 days before I was suppose to not because I wanted food. I felt so weak I thought my body needed something more then water. I felt so much better after. I've tried to eat some of the things I'm allowed to and still can't get most things down.
  11. Thanks for your prayers everyone, the cat scan came back ok and the pain has finally stopped. So they are going to let me go home and I need to follow up with my general doctor.
  12. The blood work back and something was high suggesting it might be a blood clot so they are going to do a cat scan to make sure it's not
  13. So I called the surgeon and they told me to go the ER :-( guess its better to be safe then sorry. Hope it's nothing and they don't have to keep me.
  14. The pain had finally stop but I'm going to call the surgeon as soon as they open.
