  1. I like the Premier Protein shakes. They taste good and have 30 grams of protein.
  2. I made this for dinner tonight. Very good. I thought it was a little salty, but this a keeper. Next time going to try some of the changes people suggested.
  3. I didn't need one when I was sleeved.
  4. Just made these for dinner. They were great. Very easy to make and tasted awesome. Only could finish half a piece.
  5. I was sleeved on 11/4 and have lost almost 40 pounds, which includes 10 pounds from pre op. I do get hungry sometimes, but think it is because I need to drink more water. Also need to get bettee at tracking my fluids and protein. This has been the best decision I have made. I already feel so much better already!
  6. Has anyone tried to make any of the cupcake recipes with phyllo dough instead of the wanton wrappers? I could not find the wanton wrappers so was wondering if the dough would be a good alternative.
  7. Is that a picture of the spaghetti squash? It looks really a good. I have been looking for a good recipe for the spaghetti squash.
  8. I was allowed coffee as soon I got home. I was sleeved 2 weeks ago and have only had a few cups so far. I don't seem enjoy it as much as I used too.
  9. I will be on pureed foods starting tomorrow, any good suggestions on some pureed food you have enjoyed.
  10. My wife wanted me to wait until after the holidays. I have enjoyed overeating all of these years that I decided now is the best time for to get sleeved. I will still enjoy the holidays, but with smaller portions. Insurance helped my decision too, I also met my deductible this year, so it made sense to have the surgery before next year. I was sleeved on 11/4.
  11. My surgeon only required a liquid diet the day before my surgery and nothing after midnight. I had no issues being sleeved.
  12. I am on clear liquids for the first three weeks. This weekend I get to start pureed foods for a week, then the week after that I can start soft chopped foods.
  13. I went to Disney two weeks prior to surgery and I weighed 345. In the Magic Kingdom I did not have any issues but for the rides that I thought I might have an issue I asked before I got on any ride if I would have any issues fitting. I would know before I got on the rides. I didn't go to Epcot this time, but I don't think you will have any issues. Have a great time.
  14. Just checked into the hospital. I am surprised how calm I am, for now anyway. Good luck to all of my fellow sleevers today! See you on the loser's side.
  15. My surgery is on the 4th. While I am nervous, I trying to really focus on all of the postive changes that will result from the surgery. Good luck on Friday!
  16. I just got a call that my insurance company approved my surgery, and I am scheduled to be sleeved next Monday! I am so excited! Hard to believe it is only a week away.
  17. Great job! I get sleeved in 3 weeks and these pics really give me something to look forward. Every day brings this dream closer to reality. Keep up the good work!
  18. November 4th. Hard to believe it's only one month away!
  19. November 4th. Hard to believe it's only one month away!
  20. Vitamin D was not an issue. I am a scheduled for the sleeve on November 4th!
