    Craving Tomatoes...when can I have them?

    Glad I'm not the only one craving tomatoes! I tried tomato around week 5. I just did a slice, peeled it and scooped some of the seeds out. It was delicious! I started adding diced tomato to my tuna, also. So good!

    I've been eating Greek yogurt, poached eggs, chicken, tuna, imitation crab meat, ricotta bake with sauce and cheese & my favorite is re-fried beans with some cheese. I did try some green beans and they were great. Next I'm going to try some baked fish, shrimp and scallops. I can't wait to have some salad and tomatoes, but I'm going to wait another week for that.

    Another tip is that you can get free cups of ice Water from any counter service or snack cart that sells soda. Just walk up and ask. They don't mind if you bring in your own food at all...just don't like glass bottles.

    There seems to be quite a lot of people sleeved on May 20th. I love it! I am feeling better and better every day. I am finally able to sleep on my side, which makes me very happy and is one step closer to comfortably sleeping on my belly. I am on full liquids, but my doc said I can move to purees before I come back in to seem them next week. I'm looking forward to some different flavors. Just these past couple of days I've really been craving eating. Not really hungry...my mouth just wants to bite into something and chew. But, I'm a rule follower and won't give into temptation. I do find it soothing to cook for my family and watch food network, which I thought would be really difficult. I keep telling myself that I won't get on the scale every day, but I do. My weight stayed the same for three days and I was freaking out, but then started loosing again. I guess that's why it's not the best to be on the scale so much. I have a LOT to loose, but I'm happy with my progress so far. I'm down 20 pounds since surgery bringing my total loss, since I started this journey in October, to 74 pounds.
  17. I was also sleeved May 20th. I've been using Body Fortress Whey protein mixed with skim milk or water. I make a shake up, and then just sip on it throughout the day. Some days I can get two shakes in and others I've only made it through one.

    Calcium Citrate

    I am supposed to take 1500 mg a day, split into three 500 mg doses and taken separate from my multivitamin. I've never really been on a daily medication, so I'm struggling to remember it all.

    I was going to ask about Calcium Citrate as well. I have been using Wellesse liquid Calcium Citrate, but the liquid is a pain and the I can't stand the taste. My doc told me to do liquid or chewable, so I'll ask about the petites and see if I can do those.

    May 20th

    How much Protein are you guys getting in at this point? My doc said sip Water all day, make a Protein shake and sip on that all day and then do my 2 ounce meals (full liquid stage) every 3 hours. I was just working on one protein shake (made with skim milk) a day, but thinking I should be doing two to get my protein levels closer to 60. Just curious as to what everyone else is doing.
