  1. Just got done with my follow up post op appointment. I was sleeved on 5/31 and my surgeon just cleared me today to start working out and resume normal activities. I was shocked since I am only 13 days post op. I am down 15 pounds since the surgery day and I lost 35 pounds before surgery so I am already down 50 pounds all in all. My wounds healed very well, still slight pain on manipulation site but very tolerable, and all my Labwork and numbers all look good he said so I'm happy about that. Either gonna hit the gym or gonna start p90x. Let me know what some of you folks do for workout plans post op. Thanks and thanks for all the support from everyone

    May 2013 Sleevers!

Hello all- well I was sleeved on may 31st. I was pretty nauseous on day 1 and 2 and the gas and acid reflux pains were unbearable. I went home yesterday 6/1 was still pretty nauseous and I tried taking my first dosage of hydrocodone but I could not keep it down so I threw it up and just did not take it. Day 3 is much much better. The nausea seemed to subside, did a morning walk and took my hydrocodone and was able to keep it down this time, just sipped it slower this time. I also had a Popsicle earlier which was awesome and I am sipping on isopure and water as I write this. Hopefully it's smooth sailing from here on out. Those acid reflux pains gotta go lol. Anyway ready to officially start the journey now that all the nausea is out of the way. Thanks for all the support

  4. I know how you feel. I am on clears now just to get used to it. My surgery is the 31st and I am getting excited yet still a bit nervous about the recovery but reading everyone's experiences on this site it makes it a lot more comforting. You will be fine and please post after your surgery so I can see how you are doing. You are in my prayers and good luck tomorrow
  5. I'm having mine this Friday at Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles - I am a little nervous yet very excited as well. I am losing more weight this week since I am doing clear liquids now since yesterday. I just have been doing a lot of cardio a session in the morning before work and in the early evening after work to get ready plus to clear my head. Please post after your surgery to get your feedback and to see how you are feeling. You will be in my prayers. You should be excited the journey is about to begin. Congrats
