5 Confessions (Join In)
I am almost 4 weeks post op and I confess that I stalk people with sleeves on my fitness pal to see how much they can eat. What they can eat. I confess that I so hope and wish that I would be lucky enough to eat 4oz at one sitting. I am very happy with my sleeve and have no desire to go back to where I was. I just want to be normal. I want to be able to look normal when I am dining with someone. ( I have not told but 3 people about being sleeved) I confess that I feel encouraged when I see someone on here or fitness pal eating Pasta, McDonald's , Starbucks, cake or bread. Again, I do not want to live off these foods but a treat once in awhile would be great!!!!!!

I have to ask...
When can I start eating a little more? Tomorrow I will post op 4 weeks. I am fortunate that so far I have had no issues. I have only told 3 people about my surgery. I have lunch plans with a client today and I am So nervous about eating like a bird in front if her. Right now I can drink 16 oz Water in 3/4 of an hour. Same with 11 oz premier Protein shake Soups go down pretty easy. As does Greek yogurt. It takes me 2 hours to eat egg and chicken salad. At one sitting I probably can eat between 1-2oz. I am very pleased with my sleeve. I just want some spence of normalsey. I would be so grateful if eventually I could eat 4oz at one setting. When did everyone start to eat a little more? Thanks

Yoga
Thank you so much for the stories. I am in encourage. I think I will build up endurance by walking as I have been doing. Weight training in 2 weeks. Then start yoga. I did the hit yoga too and I loved it. The heat made my body so much more supple and flexible.

Happy to not be obsessing about food
I did not go back to work until 3 weeks after my surgery. I am glad because I never planned out meals in my life. I shopped, planned, measured and pretty much obsessed about what and how much I could eat. I also weighed myself everyday. I travel for work and went back and ugh thankfully I am busy and eating/drinking but not obsessing. I also can't weigh myself till I get home which will be my one month anniversary. I am Okay with that!! Just thought I would share

How long for Gerd?
Maybe start with Greek yogurt or pudding. That seems to go down really easy for me. I am only on puréed less than a week and it seems that every time I start something new ( refried Beans, ricotta cheese, eggs) it was so heavy. Tried again in a few days and fine

GERD - Indigestion, Reflux, Lumps in Throat/Chest. Exposition of Symptoms and Treatment.
The Vinegar is very pungent. I just drink a little shot glass with water. Some people put honey in it. The aloe Vera is okay. I just do shot glasses of it when I feel heartburn. I also mix it in my morning shake. About 1/4 cup. Good luck. Let me know

Surviving the liquid stage
Hi there. Full liquids got old fast. I dreamt of food I felt like I was never going to eat real food again. I was on full liquids for 2 weeks. Suggestion: don't just eat broth. My doctor allowed any puréed soup. I just had to purée it then strain it. There are so many great Soups out there. I got progressive brand but on the soup isle there were all kinds of bisques. My absolute favorite is Amy's, Thai soup. I had a new soup every day. I was also aloud to have SF pudding and Popsicle. Good luck!!!

September sleevers
I was sleeve 9/28 and I do a light .75 mile walk everyday. Not tough. But wanted to start somewhere. Protein really makes difference. If I get 70-80 grams in the next day I am fine 50-60. My walk is slow and I am exhausted. Good luck
