When did everyone get clearer for working out?

I am 3 weeks post-op. I had my surgery in Mexico so don't have a follow up Doctor.

I walk most everyday but truly would love to start working out sometime soon. Thank you in advance.

My surgeon personally cleared me at 6 weeks post-op to basically do whatever kind of exercise I felt comfortable with. That being said, I had no complications or problems, so it might be slower for someone who did.

It was somewhere between 4-6 weeks for me I started out on the treadmill n worked my way to weight lifting

Cleared at 4 weeks. Had no complications

I had my surgery in Mexico, too. The doctor told me to wait 6 weeks before starting any heavy exercise. Every doctor is different, though.

At 6 weeks, I was cleared for workout

I was cleared 1 week after surgery but my incision was open so I only walked for the first month. I'm 2 months out and my incision is still healing so I only do mild exercise.
