  3. Big Congrats Keep up posted on your progress.
  4. Hi I decided about three months ago that I wanted to have WLS. So, of course, I have to go through the 6 months of supervised diets. My last weigh in will be September 15. I figure it will take at least two weeks to get my surgery date which should put it around the first of October. So ... who else plans on having an October 2013 surgery date?
  5. All is good except I have a hiatal hernia. Anyone else get the same results?
  6. OMG ... you look like a super model.
  7. Whoo hoo ... look at you. Awesome!

    Wow ... congrats!
  10. That is awesome news!!! BIG CONGRATS!!!
  11. Welcome ... I have 4 more visits myself. 1 next week. I've had 2 already. It feels long some days and then it feels like time is flying by on others.
  12. Best wishes and look forward to hearing how you did.
  13. I hope that your Doctor can resolve your issues.
  14. I've asked him to stop. I'm not sure what he thinks he is going to accomplish by picking on my. I already told him that my weight made my knee hurt. After I walk 30 minutes, my right foot hurts because of all the weight. I'm not young...I'm not old either, but my body feels old. I have four kids and I'm over weight. I'm not making excuses, I just feel my joints are tired of the weight and they hurt. I want to loss it to feel better. I told him that, but my insurance will deny me if I lose 30 pounds. So I have to keep it where it's at so that I can have the surgery. Can I lose 30 pounds? Yes, but I can't get below that 230 mark and I need to be 150. I'm hoping this surgery will get me there.
  15. BIg congrats!
  16. My husband has been picking on me lately. I guess I should explain my story. First, I've been overweight for 10 years. I've dieted for the same amount of time. I don't know a day I haven't done some type of diet. I lose ... then gain ... yo-yo. Either way, my weight has always hovered from 230 to 250. Then I found out that if I only gained 10 pounds my insurance would pay for me to have the sleeve. I finally saw the light at the end of the tunnel. I thought my husband was supportive. Now he saying he doesn't think it will work. He now picks on me about my weight. He jiggles my flab when he hugs me and says I have to do it while I can, but then turns around and says that I probablly won't lose it. UGH!!! I'm so frustrated right now.
  17. Thanks for the responses. I'm excited to be getting closer to my date, but not about trying to sleep with a device to my head.
  18. Has anyone had the sleep study where they sent you the device to your home and you wore it for two nights? That is what they are doing with me. I didn't know they could do that. That is so cool!
  19. My doctor is putting me on a liquid diet 1 week before surgery. So I'm going to do a two week liquid diet so that if I mess up, hopefully it will be during the first week.
  20. I got mine today. I love it.
