Sleep Study ... from Home...

Has anyone had the sleep study where they sent you the device to your home and you wore it for two nights? That is what they are doing with me. I didn't know they could do that. That is so cool!

  • I did mine at home too, but it was only for one night. Let me tell you, that was the worst night of sleep I have had in a very long time.

No

I had to go to this psych ward - i mean "sleep center"

spent the lllllllllllongest night of my life!!!!

all hooked up like a martian - woke me up periodically, after i had dozed off for a few minutes!!!

tests came back positive for sleep apnea

added "plus" co-morbities enabling me to have WLS approved (worse is better?? :o )

being at goal i've stopped wearing my mask - but i should probably have the official test again to confirm i don't have sleep apnea

good luck with your "test" ;)

luck with your WLS

speedy, safe recovery too

Thanks for the responses. :) I'm excited to be getting closer to my date, but not about trying to sleep with a device to my head.
