  1. Hi! June 6th sleever here. I'm down 71lbs and at goal. Family and friends say I'm too skinny but looking to lose five more pounds.
  2. I love Fitbit! Sharika, I'll add you. I only have one fitbit friend at the moment Anyone else, feel free to add me. My address is xxsyrenxx@yahoo.com.
  3. I'm the same. I can have crushed ice with no problem but liquids have to be room temp
  4. I did too. Had to sleep with the device on for two nights.
  5. Good luck Sleeve Sister! Everything is going to go well for us
  6. Good luck everyone. I'm heading to the hospital now. No nerves...yet. I might just come to my senses and sneak out while the nurse's back is turned lol. See everyone on the sleeved side!
  7. I'm June 6th also. Surgery being done by Dr. Aceves.
  8. I'm curious to see what people suggest. I also have a toddler. He's three and occasionally likes to be carried. My husband isn't taking off from work. Luckily he will get our son ready in the mornings and do his night time routine. During the day, I'm on my own :\ How about a toddler travel cot for naps? They tend to be low to the ground. Amazon has a well rated inexpensive one. And for Snacks, instead of the highchair, use a kiddie table? I have a plastic one that I got from IKEA that's great. Sturdy and cheap.
  9. I'm also having surgery on the 6th but with Dr. Aceves. I'm counting the days!
  10. My surgery date is June 6th. I'm excited but the closer we get to June, the more nervous I'm getting.
  11. I have surgery scheduled for June 6th. Just booked my flights. So excited! Anyone else have a surgery date of June 6th?
  12. The surgeon I plan on going with doesn't do Single Incision. I'm curious as to how the scars will look. Is anyone willing to post pics? Thanks!
  13. Great. Thanks for the info. Rockpaperthinner, good luck with your surgery!
  14. I have a BMI of 35 with no comorbidities, doubt my insurance will cover the surgery so I'm exploring self pay options. I'm interested in gastric sleeve surgery with Dr. Aceves and was wondering how the process of getting a surgery date goes. I've been to his website and saw there are medical questionaires that can be submitted. Do you fill those out and submit them to find out if you are a candidate? Did anyone have to send over medical records from your PCP?
  15. I'm new to the boards and have been researching the Lap Band, specifically the Lap Band with plication. I'm curious how much it costs for self pay in NYC. My insurance covers weight loss surgery but I don't think I have a chance of getting approval. My BMI is 35 and I have no comorbidities. I do have a family history of diabetes, high cholesterol and sleep apnea.
