I hope this gets easier
It's a process but just try to follow your plan. You'll be surprised how quickly you will progress to the next stage. Might not seem like that right now but the weeks and months will just fly by! Honest !!

Help! 2 days post op and im struggling!
You're actually on one of the worst days hate to say. Days 2 & 3 for me were worse than day 1 but I slept as much as possible so didn't have to deal with it too much. Each day will get better

confused
I went back to work 2 weeks after surgery and brought a tiny Rubbermaid container with 1/4 c cottage cheese in it. A lemon greek yogurt, etc...The yogurt took me a couple of hours to finish. Just a small spoonful at a time.

Chicken/Beef Broth or Stock?
Sometime the warm liquids go down easier than the cold or room temp ones those first days.
-
Those first 2 weeks... how much did you eat?
I was on clear liquids for the 1st 2 weeks. Syntax protein drink but was lucky to get 20 oz in a day. Chicken broth, SF popsicles. Was only hitting 200-300 cals at that time.
-
Can't eat food
I was about 200-300 the first 2 weeks and about 500-600 for a long time after that.
-
How long were you sore after surgery?
Gas pain in my left shoulder for a 3 or 4 days post op. Incision discomfort only when getting in and out of bed for a week.
-

Post-Op Tray Picture
Not exactly what kind of tray you mean. I didn't have a tray. I had a small pitcher of water and 1 oz cups later in the day. The next morning I had a shaker bottle of flavored Syntax protein powder in water and the 1 oz cups again. That was all I had prior to being discharged.

Orange Juice...
Are you diabetic? When my numbers were out of line pre-surgery I would have cravings for OJ and if I had it I wanted more. I've not had any for over 6 months now and no longer have cravings and am off all meds.

Hanging Skin Under Chin
I find myself wearing more turtlenecks now. OK for this weather but not sure what I'll do when it's warm again But still happy there is less of me now!

Considering The Sleeve, What Are Your Pros And Cons?
I've not had any cons so to speak. The first few days post-op were not fun and games but it is surgery so I was well prepared after reading the boards. It's all pros for me! Was on 10 pills per day plus insulin for diabetes, high blood pressure, etc... I've now been taken off ALL meds. Just taking vitamins. More energy! More comfortable in my own skin!. Can do lots more now than I could do approx. 80 lbs ago. Good luck with your decisions!
