  1. im right there with ya .. I'd ride my horses if I didnt have heavy heavy saddles to throw up there. But we cant just yet, itll get here soon tho. Dont crave a burger lol. easier said than done right. just think how good we are gonna look when this is all said and done you can do it!
  2. if you plan to sleep in your bed after the first couple of days, it helps to buy one of those wedges at wal mart. Or just prop several pillows under you where you can still stretch your legs out in bed but propped up. Also, a huge thing is some sort of tummy support. Wether it be a travel pillow or some sort of a compression belt/girdle/shirt type thing. It helps so much with moving, walking, coughing, sneezing.
  3. I have 2 on upper back (one is large), one on lower back, 1 on each ankle, top of foot, inner wrist ... I've only lost 21 lbs (surgery was 2 weeks ago) but I think mine are placed where they wont become too distorted. If I were you, I would wait until you lose the weight that way you dont waste money
  4. May 6 here .. down 21 lbs and 21.5" so far just started exercising tonight and hope to kick more weight out the door. Ive been a slow loser this past week
  5. of course they are going to jack the price up if you have insurance .. thats how they make money. Im glad I paid cash for mine and it was done in the states for $12,000 $7900 to hospital $3100 to Dr $1000 to anesthesiologist 2 weeks out, 21 lbs down and 21 1/2" gone!

  7. I hope youre not upset about their decision to have you in. I would have already made an appt if I was having those problems, especially vomiting so frequently

  10. my dr cleared me to start my full liquids stage but I am so tired of this .. I am ready for soft mushy foods.
  11. thank yall! I feel better about that. I have the Syntrax nectar, unflavored Protein and mix that in my soups/drinks on top of getting my Protein shakes in. Possibly still not getting all my protein in but Im dang sure trying. The numb part is a good way to have explained it for me. I didnt think of it like that, so thank you
  12. My dr's office has cleared me for full liquids and it seems that I havent felt full yet. SHould I be worried? I sip small sips of my water/shake/creamy Soup and so far, I havent felt anything
  13. May 6th here also. Was at Baylor Trophy Club. Is that where yall were? I feel fine except for all this (*&^$^()(*&^^ gas pains
  14. Im finding it hard to get my protein in ... after drinking that nasty stuff during the swallow study has me gunshy lol
  15. thanks all .. how soon did yalls gas pains go away? Mine are still trapped in my chest and just enough to piss me off lol
  16. the gas pains are horrible!!! Between the shoulder blade and behind my boobs .. what eases that pain? Dont say GasX strips cause its not that kind of gas.
  17. My husband is doing the pre op diet with me also, but I can be strong willed if he decides something else is better lol But it does help when your husband is so supportive.

  20. Are we really starting it tomorrow? Thought we start it on this Monday coming up since it'll be 2 weeks before surgery?
  21. May 6th here ... Pre op April 16 and I am ready.
