Laura-I had an amnio test done but only because of my age. Looking back it would not have mattered to me what they found because she was my special gift from God. If I became pregnant now, I would not have those tests done. Good morning all- I am not really going to journal it. I will write things down and send my diet buddy a note telling her what I am doing but I am not going to actually keep it all. I am a more of a 'one day at a time' girl that would never re-read what I ate last week much less last year. If I had lots of variety in what I ate it would be different, but I am kinda boring. Macy would rolllll too. And when I say roll...I mean ROLLLL. My whole stomach looked like an alien was about to burst out of there. The bigger she got, the more miserable I was when she would ROLLLLL. lol I miss that alot!! :eek: Frank would watch and be like OMIGOD!!!!!

Quick question for ya then...with all due respect: So if it was "all band and no dieting" where is the need for maintaining? There is nothing wrong with admitting you had/have to watch what you eat. You said yourself that you watch it for a day or so...and why is that? Because you will gain back some weight, that is why. So, just admit that you DO have to work with the band and not that is is just a MIRACLE!

Good morning everyone! Just got macy to school and am on my 2nd (and final) cup of coffee for the morning. Snow...wowee. It snowed on Christmas Eve a few years ago. First and probably last time I will ever have a white christmas unless we move :thumbup: It gave a whole new meaning to the song "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas". It was such an event that we videotaped it snowing. Just set the video cam up next to the window and recorded the whole thing. I remember I was wrapping presents when it started snowing and I jumped up (about midnight mind you) and started throwing clothes on and dh says "where are you going?". Are you kidding me? "Outside to play in the snow, that's where". He acted like he thought I was crazy but he still came with me :eek: Good times. So many people took pictures in the area that all of the 1 hour photo places were not able to promise pics back for up to a week!! lol Well, 10 days into November and I am still at 206. I will be lucky to lose 4 this month considering I have not even lost one yet. I had heard that smoking raises your metabolism...now I am starting to believe it! But I am going to keep on keepin' on. At least I am not gaining. Have a fantastic day violets. Make good choices!

Good morning violets- Just sitting here having my first of a few cups of coffee Got lots & lots of things on my mind lately. It is so hard to believe that the holidays are drawing near. Unblievable! We are going to get a real tree this year. I have not had a real tree in probably 15-20 years. (back when Laura was a little girl ) I am really looking forward to the smell of a real tree. I know there are a couple of places in the Houston area that have tree farms and they cater to the 'family tree cutting' experience. Macy will LOVE it! Hopefully we can find a pretty tree at a decent price. Have a fantastic day and make good choices! Denise-the dress is beautiful and the boys are still darlings! They grow so fast, right?!

Quick story.... We were watching Titanic. At the end when Jack died of frostbite the boat came along to find survivors screaming "is anyone alive out there". Rose hears them and she tearfully has to 'let Jack go'. OK, here was the conversation at my house during that scene: Macy: "mom, whats wrong with that guy?" Me: "he's frozen like a popsicle cause it's so cold" Macy: "oh. What's wrong with that lady?" Me: "she is sad because he is frozen like a popsicle" The movie: is anyone alive out there!!!! Macy: (very matter-of-fact) "well, she is gonna have to go without him" Now that just cracked me up for some reason.... Laura-kids can be so funny! You are in for so much fun!

Good morning violets- I really do not like when dh is on nights over the weekend. It is so difficult to try to keep the house quiet while he sleeps during the day. Our backyrd is off limits because it is right by our bedroom, therefore, too noisy. He doesn't complain about noise because he is such a sweetheart but I just know I would sleep better if it is quiet, so I know he would too. Scale bounced up 2....still no TOM so I am sure that is why I bounced up. Pamela-anything fun planned for the rest of the weekend? Don't seehow you could do anything more exciting than madonna Judy-here's to not barfing at your friends house! Jenn-how are you? what ever happened with your tom issue? Jane-busy today @ work? Luckily for me dh family are a-holes so we do not have this problem!! It is always at my families house....dh prefers it that way too. I am very lucky! Sad that his family is the way they are but it makes the holidays a no brainer!
