Wow it was alot quieter than normal in here today! Normally I have to catch up on 3 pages of posts! Have FUN tomorrow pamela...happy early Friday! I sure miss Terri & Jennifur! I hope they are OK. Starting about midweek coming up I am going to be a busy individual. The holidays are normally hustle & bustle anyway but with moving on the list now...OMG!! Oh...today my dh called me from walmart and told me that an eleven dollar purchase was declined on our debit card!! I flipped! I go onto the bank website and saw all of that -RED and almost passed out. :faint:The deposit that we made on Monday was nowhere to be found. The check we wrote for my husbands down payment for his truck got returned....there were 6 other transactions that the bank was charging us 32.50 each for NSF....I almost cried! DH went straight to the bank and to make a long scarey short, the teller that took our deposit on Monday left out a zero in our account number. So, they put all our money in, erased the NSF fees and even called Landmark Chevrolet to let them know that the check was sent back to them and it was the banks error and to just re-run the check.....alls well that ends well, thank GOD!!! OK, I need to get off my princess' rear end and help pack pics and stuff! Take care everyone!!

Terri-great to see you still have your sense of humor....love it!! :eek: Question for all violets.... We ahave all had NSVs and SV right? here is the question. What was your favorite NSV you have had? My answer...my fav NSV is a tie. First was putting on my first ever pair of 12/14 pants. The other was how proud my ob/gyn was of me. I could hear him down the hall from my room telling people about it What are your favs? The needle stick today did not hurt at all thank goodness. Kat-Our house is one whole street over from where we are now LOL At least it won't be any trouble driving back & forth during the moving process. I hope everyone has a great evening!

Good morning Violets- Slow getting motivated this morning. DD had her pics taken at school and they came in yesterday and of course I could not choose so I bought them all. I will post one of them later. They brought costumes to the school and dressed them up for the pics. Cute cute cute! Kat-the taco talk made me crave tacos...do you deliver Terri-sorry to hear that you are having a crappy time. We are here for you sista! Pamela-where are you? Jenn????? why so quiet? Tracy, Suzie, Judy and all my other midwest & northern violets...stay cozy in that frighteningly cold weather! Well, the moving date is set for the day after Christmas! So, that mean the night of christmas, the tree has to come down. I hate that part cause I love to sit and stare at the tree. A childhood habit I never outgrew and never plan on outgrowing! So much to pack, but at least I will have the time since I am off for the holidays. I am looking for ward to it though! I go to the dr tomorrow to get blood drawn to check to see if my cholesterol pills he gave m are doing what they should...wish me luck cause i hate needles with a passion. Good morning Violet sistas! Judy-I got your card & pic yesterday! Loved it! Thank you so much! I think we do have all the warm weather down here. It is going to be 81 today. Sure makes it hard to get into the holiday spirit. But, it is supposed to get cooler by this weekend. I have not tried any jeans yet that are completely without elastic, so I have no idea what "regular" size jeans I wear. The ones I wear have elastic just in the back and i wear a 12-14. I am guessing a 16 without elastic. I need to try some on but I am scared I am going to lose my good feeling of being 12-14....lol I seriously need to get my wedding ring resized because it is about to fall off. It is a 7 now and I have never worn smaller than a 7 ring until now! Kinda anxious to see what size it will be! We found a house to lease until we buy one. We are moving right after Christmas. We have moved so much I feel like we are in the witness protection program But, we are seasoned movers. It is just the thought of doing it again that sux but it will be worth it. We live in a new trailer right now and I am just so excited that we will be back in a house. I need to get ready for work...take care everyone.

Laura-I always thought is was strange how people act when hey are 3 sheets to the wind. As far as me, it depends on what I drink as to how I act....therefore, no tequila shots for me. In a mixed drink, fine, shots, no way!! That will give me skeletons in my closet, and the closet is at maximum capacity. LOL Pamela-yes..we want to see a pic of the new couch! We (the family) went driving around looking at christmas lights last night. Some people must spend a pretty penny decorating their yards!! Have a great night everyone!!

Good morning violets! Hopefully it is going to be a relatively quiet day today. My dsd and dss are going home today sometime and I just have the house to clean and the regular Sunday ritual of gtting ready for a new work week. I did OK concerning the cookies...I had 3 (big ones) then wanted to kick myself in the rear end but oh well, whats done is done. I did nt eat them all at once, it was just ne of those munch on them throughout the day things. I proved to myself why I do not even keep that stuff in the house on a regular basis. Kat-as soon as Rick is safely home let us know so we can stop worrying with you. Judy-I have heard that Vicks anywhere on the bod works. I hope it works well for you! Janie-I love anything decorated with shrinkwrap...it is so pretty! Well, I am gonna start reading some of my new book before the other 2 kids wake up. Since the tie change, my quiet mornings have disappeared. Macy just can not seem to adjust. Have a great day violets!

YAWN...dd woke up at 3 this morning and did not go back to sleep...so i ended up getting up too because I have the heebie jeebies about leaving a 4 year old awake by herself unsupervised. No telling what I would have woke up to...lol I am getting some christmas cards today. I am running so late. I am normally on top of that every year but this year I just can't seem to get into it. Gina-you look great! Well done violet sister! Oh, and I love your dog Laura-I cant wait to see a pic of your gift, it sounds really pretty. Kat-ugh....wrapping presents. The worst part of all! More power to you. Pamela-how was the party? Judy-I sure hope you feel better today. I promised the kids we would make cookies today. I must have lost my everloving mind, but, a promise is a promise. I was really really having a sweets attack last night. I was having junk withdrawels in the worst way. I fought it off by telling dh that I had to go to bed. What a sweetie he was about it. I normally stay up til all the kids are tucked in but he let me go crash. That is ow i dealt with the junk monster in my head. I will check back in later....have a great day everyone!

I just ordered dsd a charm for her bracelet for christmas. It is a "big sister" charm and she is gonna love it! This morning on the scale I am back down to 187. I haven't seen that in a while since I have been bouncing around the 188 to 190 range. Hopefully it is the beginning of greater things to come. Everyone have a great day! ((((hugs)))) to everyone

Pamela-first off let me say that I feel so bad for you having to be so far away from Suzanne while she is sick. I know how hard it must be for you! Second...no the one that i in flight attendant school is my SIL. She passed her final and got her wings and graduated today!! She is beside herself with joy! I am so happy for her! Tracy-too cute in your hat & scarf! I read everyones posts but with dd driving me up a tree I can not remember all the personals i was going to write....let me think.... Oh, Michelle-YAY YOU!! I am so happy you finally got he scale to move. Way to go! Lets see, I have not weighed this much is such a long time I can not remember if it is a set point or not. All I know is that I am bouncing around the same weight right now. i think getting under 187 is going to be a tough one! You know how sometimes you can just tell that you are on a weight that you will be seeing for a while....well thats me right now. But, I am not complaining, I have done well and will continue to (God I hope) Terri-I am so glad your mom will be with you for the holidays. That is so wonderful! Everyone have a great evening!

Good morning Violets! Thank you all so much for the well wishes for my sister. She is the sister that hooked me up with all of the clothes & shoes and purses a couple of months back. It is too early so I have not talked to her yet today but the last I heard, all of her tests (CAT scan most importantly) came out just fine. I think it was her wake up call to be more vigilant in eating the right way since she is diabetic. She will really be careful now!! Laura-I am so glad that you have restriction! It is just what you needed, right! I am still going to attempt the stop smoking ordeal on New Years. Nothing else really to say on that subject...lol I need to get off here and get ready for work. whew...my sister is at the hospital...she had a diabetic seizure. Said she felt dizzy, leaned up against a shelf then the next thing she knew, she was being brought to the hospital. I just spoke with her on the pone and she is getting better & better. Thank God. This is the one reason I hate living an hour and a half away from my family.....I am glad it was nothing really bad!

Hey...I just got a call that my sister collapsed at walmart and she is unconscious and the fire dept is working on her .....please pray

Laura-we are our own worst critics! Take the compliments because we all mean them with all our hearts!! You have done a tremendous job and should be very proud of yourself! You DO look fantastic...we said so, so THERE Good morning violets! It is 6AM and reading about the margaritas makes me want one. I have not had one since I can't remember when! Ket & Judy-I sure hope you both feel better today. For the past few years at work I have been getting an extra bonus. I wonder if it will happen again. I sure hope so. My SIL graduates from Continental Airlines tomorrow and will be a flight attendant. She is my age (41) and has dreamed of being one for her whole life. Now, her dream is coming true. They had to stay there for a whole month...she missed Thanksgiving and the tests have been very tough! I have a whle new respect for flight attendants now. They have to learn every emergency situation that could arise, from terrorists to delivering a baby. The tests are the kind that if you fail, you have to leave. I am so proud of her! I thik her last test is today...so keep her in your thoughts & prayers. It would suck to fail the last test before graduation! Everyone have a fantastic day!

I wish i could have been on here kicking you in the pants....am I too late or can I do it now? I agree with Terri! You really need to try something different. When I am at a stand still like that, I add some calories to my "diet" then start over...so far it has worked, try it! I also saw where you were saying (in frustration) that you are just nowgetting to where some of us started....well, speaking from someone that weighed in at around 325 at one point, I know where you are coming from!! He just bought a new truck and that is that! Makes it easier on me. I bought him a pressure washer for this b-day. You would havethought I gave him a million dollars. My trips for the coming year are still up in the air...except for the most important one...our violets trip in May. I am SO excited about that! I can not wait to meet you all :confused: We did not win squat at the casino yesterday. Normally I at least have a good time, win or lose, but this time it was disappointing all the way around! I looked cute though...lol I bought some shirts that fit. For the first time in my life I was able to go in and rack up on clothes!! That was fun! This next weekend is my dh company christmas party but we can not go because we are having dss & dsd over that weekend. Its OK though because I love when they are here....and so does Macy! Speaking of dd, she is coming home today from her weekend with mawmaw & pop. I need to bring her to see santa....ugh I would rather be beat than to stand in that line at the mall.
