Kinda gross question! Sorry
How soon after surgery are we talking??
-
unhappy with nutritionishs recomendation
That's funny bc most Drs will tell you they prefer solid over liquid protein. I'd ask your surgeon to be sure this follows his/her plan.

Daily Menu 6 Months + after surgery
Quest bars are my favorite. I like most flavors, but my favorite is chocolate chip cookie dough.

Bread/pasta question
Curious about riceless rolls. Can you explain or describe? ThanksNo rice for either raw or not: raw fish with a little sauce, maybe a speck of avocado. Or regular cooked rolls with no rice: made the same way with either seaweed or soy paper on the outside- they can also wrap it in thin slices of cucumber. Here's a photo I took earlier this week when eating with a friend: rice at top, no rice at bottom

Catheter/Foley?
I did not (out-pt surgery). But each doc is different.

Bread/pasta question
I'm not a believer in "all things are ok in moderation." I'm happy not to eat these things now. I'd rather fill my belly up with other things. And now I order sushi / rolls without rice- yum!

Exercise and TOM
Yes. My hunger is out of control during my TOM. Also, if I run during my TOM, it seems to NEVER end! I just eat what I'm supposed to, track it, and skip the weigh-in that week (because it's never good--- lol).

Driving...Post Operation
Besides not being on medication, you should be able to twist at the waist without hurting. Be safe.

How many months in before you committed to exercise?

Pre op questions:
Let me start by saying, it won't give you the life you hope for- it will give you the life you WORK for. For me, it was 100% worth it, I have zero regrets. If you're an outpatient, I'd suggest someone stay with you for the first 24 hours. Just because if you were to have a complication, I wouldn't want young children having to be the ones who deal with it (example: death--- yeah, I know that's harsh, just making a point). Will people guess? Probably so. If you drop that much weight that quickly, people are going talk. But it still your business, not theirs. You choose what you want people to hear from you.
