Eating and traveling-I am stressed
Hi, Wow thats some impressive lineup and I wouldnt mind being you till December minus all the jetlag. My friend , I think you answered your own question before by bringing protein shakes and bars to substitute for those rich breakfasts and lunches and even though your a foodie, keep it clean as clean as you can for dinner. stick with proteins veggies and fruits for dinner . What else can you bring that wont go bad besides the pb? Oh and btw good luck in Paris the food there is oh so good. lol

Anyone else feel guilty about doing this?
Normally I would say its an easy decision if it will help you in the long run, but, you pose some good points and as a mother I get where you are coming from. That kind of sucks you are caught between a rock and a hard place. But on the flip side you want to be healthy to care for your daughter and to be here for her right? So its all on you. Whatever decision you can live with is the one you should go with. I wish you all the best and hope you have an easy time with this.

Can't stomach anything without nausea, HELP!
I stayed an extra day in hospital because I could not get past liquids without nausea . When I got the wave they put an alcohol prep near my nose , kind of squashed the feeling imidiately and gave me zofran iv push and out it went. But in the hospital they told me if I needed I could take a script home with me for the zofran so I am sure its available in pill form, call your syrgeon you shouldnt have to suffer like this. And by some alcohol preps they work wonders. Good luck to you I hope your better soon.

BM question. I know... Sorry!
I dont know what your habits were like before the surgery, but I agree you should let someone know. If one of our kids have problems going we usually make them broccoli or broccoli rabe with some olive oil in it it works like magik. lol I guess you can make the broccoli in food processor like a mashed potato consitancy add some oil and see how it works for you , just to lube everything up and get things moving for you. I hope you find relief soon,

POP?!
Hi I was told no carbonated drinks EVER. If I absolutely needed, drink it totally flat. As for straws I was told not to use them now but going for my new habitual drink large decaf coffee light with skim milk and a sweetner, It comes with a straw and I use it. I try to be careful and not suck down air so far so good. Good luck to you and your soda, I hope you find something that works for you. As I did with my coffee I now drink one caffenated for breakfast the rest decaf and lots of ice for fluid.
