  1. Thanks! Was having one of those "I don't feel it and I don't see it" days.
  2. Down 24. Start 241. Now 217
  3. I was feeling like this too. Today I cried a little because I feel like I've done this major surgery and I'm failing at it. I'm absolutely screwing up the water. I hate the protein drinks. (Hate). I record my weight once a week but I weigh myself daily. That scale sets my mood for the entire day and I obsess over it. Plus I read these boards and feel like everyone is losing more and faster. In my head I know not to compare but how can I not?
  4. I'm glad I made them because I can watch then and see how my emotions are progressing. ESP since my day 4 one I think. It was the hardest time and good to know I got past it and its getting more and more worth it
  5. This just made my day. I started at 18 and I'm 6 weeks out. To to think I could be 12 months away from being a size 10. Dare to dream!
  6. I did a you tube blog from the beginning if you would like to watch - newlifemelissa
  7. I'm recently out (1 month today) if you want to follow me . I'm jut a little ahead of you. It helped me a lot. YouTube channel: newlifemelissa
  8. I was planning on taking 3 weeks but I ended up with a hernia and took 4. Do you have a full time job? If so look into fmla (short term disability) see what your company pays for. I had to take the first 5 days as sick and the rest was fully paid and no vacation time was deducted.
  9. I have pcos so it's actually gotten semi regular since surgery.
  10. Yeah!!! We did it! Share some before and after photos? I think we've earned "after" ????
  11. I'm 5 weeks out of surgery. I can tell you that the anxiety before hand is probably the second worse thing about this whole thing. The first worst is Clear Liquids - pre op post op - it sucks. However - all of those things are temporary. Keep in mind that you are choosing to do this and that is your must successful decision ever! You've just started on this road and you have the rest of your life to go..don't beat yourself up over the bad days (ESP pre op). I think the bad days keep you in check for why you are doing this in the first place. Stay strong - you've for this!
  12. I was the same way for weeks. I'm 5 weeks out ac thought something was wrong. I think on liquids it's a combo of 2 things: The desire to crunch - try eating ice. And someone told me to take the antacid that I was given. I did yesterday and that was my issue. Avid mimics the feeling if hunger.
  13. Still stalled!!! Day 8. Going insane (even though I know I need to ride it out and keep going).
  14. I didn't even know those existed!
  15. I was always thin about a size 8 until I was 21. Now 35 and I've gained 120 lbs. always tried to lose and it just kept coming on. After discovering I had pcos and insulin resistance I knew this was my only option. My goal weight is between 115 and 130. Hoping I can get there and get back into "normal" clothing.
  16. When I was on liquids I missed the crunch if things. Try ice chips. It surprisingly helped me.
  17. Not sure if I told you guys but I have a YouTube channel and I've been trying to update on Mondays (since the 8th was a Monday). It's Newlifemelissa - does anyone else have one? Would love to follow you guys. (And see you!)
