  2. Good bye forever 241!!! I hate you!!!
  3. I'm so ready for this to be done!!!! Good luck girls!!! See you on the losers bench!!!! (And in the post op forum )
  4. Yup! That's me. My starting weight is 5"2 and I'm 242. Ideally 125 soon. I have been putting off my before shots.
  5. The clear liquids is not my favorite thing
  6. Thank you ladies! I know everyone has these thoughts and I just have to get through it like you did!
  7. Really? I've been fat for the last 15 years. Now i know...1 day 12 hours until surgery. I've been fine all day but something so stupid set me off and now I'm mildly freaking out. There is nothing I want more than to do this. However - totally going to barf. In like 5 seconds. Ill be so happy once the anticipation of it is over. I hate needles! I hate hospitals. I hate doctors. But I loooove shopping, dating, not being winded, and bikram yoga. All worth it. (Still gonna barf)
  8. Holy crap this is soon. How are you guys? I was fine all day. It's hitting me now
  9. Me too! Is it bad I don't feel bad? liquids start tomorrow. Amen for no pre op
  10. Before you know it! It's here. I spent everyday and every second thinking about it. And now it's 2 days away and I went from terrified to wanting to bail and now - I'm ready to deal with the temporary discomfort for my life long of health.
  11. I'm spending it with my family and quite honestly until Sunday - food funeral-Ing my face off. Bad? Yes. But this is how I'm dealing with this...knowing full well that come Sunday am (when i have to start clear liquids) life changes. For the better. Even though I couldn't partake in all of the amazing cocktails with my cousins yesterday I played with their kids (reminding me that I will have more energy for them) and talked about my new life. My cousins are like my siblings. They helped me not think of the nerves and only think of the amazing journey ahead. Anything with something is worth working for. And I'm going to work my ass off.
  12. I'm committing right now to its name - Sleevie Wonder. Done.
  13. I love that you named it! I want to name mine now... Sleevie nicks or sleeve Martin
  14. For mine it was a chest x ray, blood work, and EKG
  15. Mine was bs. AND that wench had a giant box of cupcakes behind her on her desk.
  16. HEeeeeeeey! How are you feeling about it?
  17. Me too! Sleeve sistas!
  18. 1 more week! Anyone in NYC tomorrow? Lenox hill?
  19. So glad you are feeling better and are home! Sending hugs and love
