  1. I think dehydration is setting in. I know I'm not getting enough water and I was dehydrated once before (pre surgery). I'm just sitting here now trying to down water
  2. Feeling crappy today! Just barfed for the first time and I can't keep anything down. I'm super mad because I know this means in not getting enough water. This whole new life thing is hard
  3. Ah I'm going to try the hearing pad as soon as I get home.
  4. I was going to attempt chicken today but I couldn't even get in 2 oz lunch meat turkey.
  5. Ok not that I'm complaining. BUT...I think I feel too normal. I can get down chicken and don't feel nauseous when I eat. I'm 21 days out. My dr said to start progressing as if today and I feel like I could eat whatever I want (not that I going to). I'm sticking to what was ordered but I also don't have a lack of desire to eat as some people have said. I want to eat. Just not the crap I ate before. And I only want a little. Is this normal? Isn't this what it's supposed to be but further out?
  6. I feel the exact same way! I hate hate the Protein shakes. Trying to get the Water in and not coming close. I feel like I'm almost 4 weeks out and I'm failing already. This is a big big adjustment and I think it's going to take is time to get used to out new bodies. Just know you are not alone. Promise.
  7. I think my stall broke! Down 1 lb from yesterday! 18 down from surgery
  8. I was hungry too! I'm 18 days out. Someone told me to take 2 Prilosec OTC because that hunger pain is gas and it absolutely helped.
  9. Thanks!!!! Love that group!
  10. Apparently this is my cranky face. Sans make up but get - there's a chin
  11. I have to say. I think all of you who have survived the liquid is very strong. I did not have a preop diet. I had to do 1 day of liquids and I wanted to die. Anyone one who says the pre op or post op isn't hard....is - well I'm not like them. At all. It's hard. It's awful. I cried. I cried after during my week of clear. We didn't get to the point of surgery because we like chicken broth. It's basically the almost like a drug addict going through withdrawal. Pre surgery you come on here looking at the photos and seeing everyone 3 and 4 months out and that's all you focus on. This is hard. This will be hard for a long time. Anyone who tells you it's not is full of crap. BUT - the one thing that keeps me going is looking on here and reading these stories of women who (like me) have looked in that mirror one too many times - hating themselves. Felt different when out with their friends, wanted to shop on "normal" stores. And most of all are able to now look in the mirror and love themselves. I think about that when I want to cry. I'm only 15 days out. It's still hard. I've lost 16.5. I can't see it. My boobs are shrinking like a dollar store air mattress but that's all I see. I look in the mirror and still hate the reflection. But this time - I know something good is around the corner. Hang in there, cry of you need: don't be afraid to vent. But always know - something good is waiting for you. And it's only a few months away. You will look back on this as a memory and remember your worth every second of this. Xoxo
  12. I agree. Hardest part of the entire thing. Thankfully it doesn't last long.
  13. Mine was an upper gi. It sucked. Mostly because I had to climb on a table and it hurt and the stuff you drink is the grossest thing on earth
  14. Yea I was expecting it at 3 weeks not at the moment. Funny that a "stall" to me now post surgery is not losing 3 lbs a day. I haven't gained I'm just stopped. Sucks because I'm already kind of depressed about wanting to eat normal food (anything not from a blender) and watching the scale go down was my saving grace. Frustrating!!!
  15. Whooooo welcome to ONEderland!
  16. So guys we are almost 2 weeks post op. what's everyone's stats and has anyone hit a stall yet? I think I did. HW: 255 SW: 241 CW: 226 -15
  17. I had surgery on 7/8 as well. I'm on full liquids. I blended black bean soup with a touch if garlic powder and onion powder. Great source of Protein and Fiber. Also someone suggested I chew ice chips which helped because I was dying to crunch on something.
