  1. I'm always open and honest with this surgery stuff (for the good stuff and bad). Feel free to email me with questions or at those panic times (we all had them pre op). Sometime people tend to dwell on the bad or only talk on the boards like they are the perfect patients and everything is easy. It's ups and downs. But the ups will always out do the downs
  2. They are valantino knock offs LOL. Called revel and they are always on gilte group. They are aooo comfy!
  3. Thank you! So I'm 5'2 and I'm 36 years old. Stats below Hw- 255 SW-241 CW- 157 (as of today!) GW- 125 No TT (yet). Right after the surgery I started slapping on the jerkins skin firming lotion like a crazy person. I don't know if that really did anything but in my head it did. Once I hit 189 I started working out a LOT. Spinning, Pilates, yoga and boot camp. I can't say enough about Pilates, I think that helped a lot. I do have lose skin mostly around the lower area. And you can see if from the side but overall I was expecting a lot worse. I carried most of my weight in my tummy so it was a big concern. I've also never had kids so I'm not sure if that means anything.
  4. Best year ever. 241 - 158. 5'2
  5. June 2013 vs June 2014....best year ever
  6. Annoying but we have to have faith it will move. At least that's what I tell myself
  7. Surgery July 8 2013 Hw: 255 Surgery weight: 241 Current weight: 166 Goal: 125
  8. Thought I would add a recent pic
  9. I HAD pcos. I was sleeved July 8 and I'm down from 241 to 166. I have regular periods and am considered pcos free.
  10. Dr Roslin at Lenox hill. I adore him. He is amazig. The whole practice is.
  11. Leena I'm July 8 as well and have had the same thing happen. Feels like once I hit 189 everything slowed down. My goal is 125 and it feels so far (I'm at 166 now). I'm the same with the discipline...I need a lot more focus and I have days where I just can't eat.
  12. 62 in 4 months is amazing!!! My weight loss slowed way down at 189. It's coming off slowly now but still coming off.
  13. A few before after ( during). 41 more until goal. 89 lost
  14. My sure I should have somethig with my body but I can't get over my face at the moment. This was exactly 3 years ago. HW 255 surgery weight 241 and this am 166! 89!!! I've lost a super model
  15. Friend of mine is considering sleeve surgery. Anyone have any recommendations for dr in Orlando?
  16. jan 8 will be my 6 month mark. This is the best decision I have ever made.
  17. I have PCOS and was sleeved July 8 2013. I was 241 day of and am now 178. The weight loss has been consistent since surgery but I guess you could say it's a bit slower than others but I don't see it that way. To compare you will drive yourself insane. My periods are sort of regular now. I've been putting off going back to the Endocronoligist for another glucose test but I need to. I Will say this - you know how with pcos the weight is carried around the middle? That's the first thing (thank god) to start shrinking. I have a blog on you tube where I've documented how the whole process has been from the beginning and the last 5 months if you'd like to see. Newlifemelissa is the channel name. I decided to get the sleeve because of the pcos and being 35 and single. I didn't want to get to a point in my life where I wanted kids and than had to do all of this. Plus not being fat has helped me feel so much better. I still have 52 more to go to goal (125) but there isn't a single day when I don't thank myself for doing this.
  18. Thank you! (I know I curse a LOT!). I'm trying to update more! Thank you again for watching!
  19. NewlifeMelissa . I'm 5 months out and started from the seminar
  20. My dr said a month. I waited about 8 weeks. I try and stay away from carbonated and sadly...my tolerance is the same as before.
  21. Honestly it's from rent the runway. Great great option if you need a fancy dress but don't want to spend money on something that won't fit in 3 months. I'm using it for NYE too
