I work for a bank I have to use a weeks worth of vacation then they will pay the rest of the time I need off. I haven't told anyone yet at work that I'm getting sleeve they know I have a hernia and that's about it.

I am so sorry this is happening to you both. I can't even begin to imagine how depressing and frustrating you feel. I hope y'all feel better and the leak heals fast I truly do. I don't get my surgery into Sept but this is what I'm mostly afraid of is getting a leak =(. My doctor said the chance if very slim but you just never know what if I'm that person. How you both feeling now are the drains out?

I should be having my surgery late August early September so I asked my mother if we could have a early thanksgiving dinner for me lol since I know I won't be able to eat like I usually do by Nov.

I got mine done in April and my surgery should be sometime in August.

I'm on my fourth weight management class so hopefully August is my month as well =)

Today I was talking about it with my mother and she tells me "I know your scared you should just not do it but its up to you but remember you don't have to do it" lol I told her I'm really excited and yes a little nervous she tells me "I know your my daughter you don't want to do it" I'm 100% sure I do want to. She tells me just to diet when she knows I have tried every diet out there and nothing has worked for me. It might sound weird but I know she will be there next to me every minute of my process, I think she does support it but she just doesn't understand "why surgery" since she has a always been a thin person even after she had her 4 kids she has a awesome body. She also tells me "remember there is a lot of risk you are very healthy just a little over weight" "don't loose too much weight just get to your healthy weight" lol I just tune her out. I totally understand all of you.

I'm a sushi, and sashimi addict. I could eat it all week. Is this going to be a problem after surgery?? I know the first stage of course I can't but later on. I'm just curious. I'm still going forward with the surgery no matter what.

I'm doing my weight management classes right now so I'm wondering how long is it going to take after I'm done with my classes to get set up. Anyone been trough this with bsbc Michigan?? Thanks!

I have bsbc Michigan. I was approved I had to see a nut, shrink, and a endoscopy everything was fine then they told me my insurance requires to take 5 weight management classes =\. Once I'm done with that they will send it to my insurance and we will set a date. I'm afraid it will be denied or something.
