I asked this question in another forum sorry if your reading it again. I finished all the requirements it took me six months. Today I called my doctors office asking for the status on my insurance ( that's what we were waiting for it was submitted last week) and they told me I was approved for the hospital stay but it's still pending for the sleeve, for the surgery. This has really freaked me out I'm wondering if there going to deny me now. She said once they know something they will call me back. Im tempted to call Tuesday (haha) to see if they heard anything. I'm so nervous that I'm going to be denied now. Has anyone gone through this? Oh and I BCBS MI.

I'm being told my hospital stay is approved but I have to wait for my sleeve to approved. I'm so nervous now that I'm going to be denied. I work for a bank. I have completed everything that I was asked for in 6months

I have a head full of hair. I am still afraid that I will stay bald. Has anyone got bald? I know it grows back though

Being overweight my whole life always dieting I can't point out a specific breaking point. I'd lose and gain it back and it would be double gain. I'll never forget when I was in 5th grade they gave us some shirts they wanted us to wear the last day of school and mine did not fit I wanted to cry (I probably did at home) my mother always made me feel beautiful (she is thin abs doesn't understand me) she went early in the morning and talked to my teacher she was very nice and got me a bigger one immediately but I remember just feeling sad and embarrassed because I couldn't wear the size the other kids did. I've always had complements on my hair my makeup because I always work on that since I know I can't dress and look as cute as thinner girls.

Congrats!!! If you don't mind me asking what size of bra are you and what insurance do you have??? I'm happy for you I will definitely need a reduction and a good lift =)

I still haven't had my surgery but that question was on my list to and he said 6wks I could have some wine.

Oh I dream of wearing so manny things. Shorts w/o worrying about my huge fat legs. And that LBD!!!! I can't wait and a bathing suit or bikini. Just not being stuck at the plus size sections or lane Bryant is a relieve for me.

I am waiting for my final insurance approval. I don't know what stage I'll be in Nov so I have asked my mom to make a thanksgiving dinner lol with the desserts and all =)

I have completed everything on my to due list!!! It wasn't much,it took 6 months because of my weight management classes. My insurance approved it once and now were just waiting on the final approval. I'm excited but super nervous!!

I don't like mayo ranch or sour cream either lol.

I have A LOT of hair I'm afraid of this but I know it comes with the sleeve. Had anyone gone bald or your hair just gets thin??

I'm also wondering about this. I'm a teller at a bank and sometimes I carry coin boxes (there 25lbs) I'm curious when I should go back to work.

I also have one and I will definitely be asking my doctor about it
