I have about 3 months to go for my last appointment with the dietician and I was just informed that my doctor left and I've been switched to a new clinic and have a new doctor. I've never met her and I prob won't unless I need too cause they over book their doctors. So what does this mean when it's time to submit to insurance? The new doctor was not the one to refer me. Has anyone else had this happen?

I'm surprised. They didn't make me take out my Monroe's. but they used meds to make me sleep which was nice cause I was awake again after 15 mins and no nausea. Was your nose piercing new? I'd expect that from a oral but not a cartilage cause that was way quick

all i have is a small hiatuss hernia. biopsies came back normal!

Yeah I would have a panic attack if I would be awake for it.

My endoscopy is Tuesday and I've never had one so I'd like to know your experience.

There is usually a 3-6 month diet with insurances. It can take longer if doctors do tests like endoscopy at the end and then find out you have pylori or a bunch of ulcers. That kind of stuff can prolong. Also if something is wrong with your labs at the final testing.

I'm looking at surgery in December too!

I had lab work, cardiac clearance, I already had a sleep study 2 years ago or I would have had that, my endoscopy is Tuesday and because my blood is a bit weird I see a hematologist Thursday.

The psychologist said he thinks I'm good to go..I was expecting a straight yes or no but he just said that and my info is on the table and he's revived a few letters from my provider...not sure what to make of that but at least it sounds good lol. I have my endoscopy on the 13th >.<

I'm 20 and my last appointment will be November 26 by then ill be 21. I'm at 256 and I need to be 240 by surgery

I was super nervous. I didn't get to say everything I wanted and how I wanted but I think I'll still be cleared.

Because the questions are different in every center in every state I had to take a 340 online question test that asked a lot of the same questions just in different ways to make sure I'm not suicidal, a alcoholic or a druggie. He asked about my past and who supports me what I know about the surgery and what the risks were. then a few papers with questions about eating habits. It's different for a lot of people. I think very few people get sleep on the eve of their surgery. Good luck!

It depends on the surgeon. There's a few who won't do the surgery if you have a big hiatal hernia but I'm not sure about what you have. Most are repaired during surgery.
