Great job Jenn !!! We need to all just keep working at using our sleeves. I am now at 163# this morning..... 205 pounds gone gone gone !!!!! -
I am a year out of my WLS and have told no one except my significant other. I have done great with this new tool and have lost 204 lbs in past year. Some of my family members think I had hernia repair and I am letting them. As a retired nurse (58) ...I did not want anyone of my friends in health care field to know cause they are very outspoken with negative comments about the few co-workers that got the band over the years. I am glad I got the surgery but agree with many of you that it is no ones business but mine. My sister who is significantly over weight does not know and never will as she is the worst critic of WLS I have ever known. I didn't even tell my sister about my double mastectomy until a month after the fact....and she lives in same city as me. I think whatever a person decides about telling is up to them. I loved the comments about the anal fistula and other surgeries ....and applaud the poster who said " why would you ask someone such a personal question."

Sleeved Sept 19.....down 151 lbs from surgery and 47 more for pre-op that started in June 2012. Some days I am feeing smaller and sometimes I catch glimpse of reflection and see a fat girl still. I am at 170 this morning and still have 40 more to lose. Wearing size 10 clothes, and am glad I found some really cute clothes at the thrift stores. -

At the doctor today for 9 month post op visit....am down 126 lbs & total of 173 since started my journey a year ago at seminar. Still have a ways to go to reach goal....about 60 more pounds. Have turned into a thrift store shopping fiend ! Going thru sizes has been very motivating. Past six months have been crazy busy as we just finished building a new house in country and I was my own general contractor. Just got moved in last week, still lots of unpacking and organizing to do. When I look back over past year I can not believe how far I have come. Will confess that I must have a really tiny sleeve cause still can only eat few bites at any meal. Have finally gotten to be able to finish an egg every morning for breakfast. -

Thanks for all the support! Those stalls are frustrating. I must have a very tiny sleeve , as I am lucky to get in 2-3 oz at time. I get my water and protein most days and have no room for anything else. I still have a long way to go ....
