  1. Most surgeries are video recorded and as your medical records, you are entitled to copies of them.
  2. If anybody did they would do as Seela said above.........Call your Doc. For something like this you don't want "ideas"

  4. Rode mine at 3 weeks and it's over 800 pounds.
  5. If it's liquid, I count it.
  6. There's no cryin' in the Guy's Room.........
  7. OK, you really need to chill. Terrified over 1/2 pound. You're gonna bounce all over the place and you need to relax about that. As long as you stay on track, the weight is gonna keep coming off, regardless of what the scale says every 15 minutes.
  8. OK, either you go back and take another picture or I'm gonna have to photoshop a smile into those. You have done great and look fantastic. Now smile girl.
  9. Taste is relative. What one person can tolerate another can't. Just go to GNC a buy one of a couple of flavors and try them. I actually drink them quite often and there are some of the flavors I do not like. I also cut them half with Water and use them to re-hydrate when I'm at the gym.(more thirsty there & don't care about taste as much)
  10. You've been at this for over a year, so I'm sure you have heard it all and done what you feel you could. But the only way to realistically know what specific options are available to you, is to discuss it with your Surgeon. Good luck
  11. Nothing....!!! You're not going to "eat" anything right away. Maybe clear or maybe full liquids, but that is about it for a couple of weeks.
  12. I think you've already answered the question. Catheter, pain, Cipro. You've probably got a UTI and it's gonna take a while to get rid of the infection. If it persists, I'd get in touch with a Urologists.
  13. The truth is ......"you never know what you're gonna get"........
  14. LOL......Reminded me of someone...... You never want to forget that half and inch.
  15. This is the Sleeve forum. I'm sure you can find some answers to your questions in the Lap Band Forum. But your posts indicate a bigger problem. Punctuation.
  16. I take it the ring doesn't fit anymore.........Very good job. You look great.
  17. Even adults fully aware of the risks and demands of post sleeve surgery have difficulties with handling this type of surgery and the demands post-op. Are you sure your 13 year old has the discipline to adhere to the restrictions following sleeve surgery. The consequences could be life threatening. Sorry, but you are being somewhat narrow minded if you choose to ignore advice simply because you perceive it to be critical. At the very least, you need to discuss this decision with some professionals.
  18. 10lbs a month, every month for five months so far.......When did you ever do that before??? Time to change your tune to, I am so excited about how much I'm losing........Now that we're on the same page......congrats, great job.
  19. I started taking mine at abut a week out. No issues and I have some fairly large pills.
  20. My guess is if you searched "Stall" you'd get thousands of posts. It probably happens to almost everybody at some time or another. Give it time, you will resume losing as everybody does.
  21. Try carrying around a Water bottle with whatever liquid you're drinking and get used to sipping on it all day. As in take it everywhere. Drink all the time. You will quickly get used to drinking and the timing in between. Learn now, cause it might become more difficult to get in enough liquids when you start foods. Timing will change to 30 min before and 30 min after. Plus the foods will fill you more and cause you less desire to drink.
  22. The system of eating and drinking we have to follow is enough of a nuisance already, I can't imagine adding some obnoxious app to the mix....I think you would tire quickly from such menial interactions. But to each their own...
  23. Most liquids weigh in the neighborhood of 8 lbs per gallon. Alot of fluids were put in you in the hospital. I assume you have also been adding liquids since. You have to wake up the bladder and get the fluids exiting as well. (urinate, alot). Turn off the waterworks (the tears kind) and relax. That liquid weight is gonna drop like crazy over the next couple of weeks.
