  3. So I'm seven weeks out. No complications but I'd like to hear what small victories you've had so far. I lost a shoe size and went to dinner with my family and had only half the anxiety I usually have about fitting in the booth. I don't snore like a freight train anymore and my rings are loose. I can. Limb a flight of stairs without hyperventilating. Oh and I can touch my toes. That's a big one for me. How bout you?
  4. Scrambled egg and it was the best egg I've ever had!!
  5. Hold on!!!! It will get better. I'm 6 weeks out. Life is starting to get back to normal. I've learned how my new full pouch feels what you can eat when to eat it. B patient. Do your personal best in following the rules. You've made a life changing decision. Give yourself 6 weeks of healing and you will see!!! Best wishes!

  12. March 1was my day. First day was tough. Able to stay second day. Walked as much as I could. Everyone said that would help. At two week checkup I lost 18lbs. Easiest loss of my life because just not hungry. Learning to listen to my body n slow down. need to walk more regularly. Best thing I've ever done for myself....so far
  13. Someone once told me " you can do anything afraid you can do unafraid " you just have to want it! So you are 52? Why not triple the years you have left and do this for you and your children. I wanted to see my grandchildren I'm 41. I'm 2 weeks out down 18 lbs since surgery. 59 total. Liquid diet is hard. Surgery is uncomfortable. New eating habits take time. You owe it to yourself and your kids to try. We have all had every single one of your fears and I'm here on the flipside saying. You can do this. You can succeed!
