    April 6 sleeve!

The struggle is real my friend... what are you doing for protein? are you able to have full liquids yet? (creamed soup, yogurt, thinned cream of wheat?) I am in love with Fair Life milk. its lactose free and has less sugar and more protein, has helped with my protein goals putting it in my shakes, soup, etcMy first post-op appointment is tomorrow too! Where do you get the Fair Life milk? I need something to add to soups that doesn't alter the taste in a negative way. Thanks! I got some at Target. Good luck tomorrow! Let us know how it goes!

    April 6 sleeve!

Also sleeved the 6th, and feeling pretty good overall. The best piece of advice my doctor and NUT had was to put the scale away! right now all that need to be worried about is healing. I am just trying my hardest to get my fluid and protein in every day and I can tell its working. Do I want to use the scale, yes!!! but I know I would just be obsessing over the number, so just going to weigh myself at the doc till at least 6 weeks out. That being said my first post op appointment is tomorrow and I cannot wait!

    April 6, 2015 surgery date

also sleeved on the 6th. I get bad tummy gurgles, but no actual hunger. although have had some head hunger, even in my dream last night. Did your guys doctors put you on anything for the stomach acid? I have noticed mine gets worse if I don't remember to take my pepcid at around the same time each day.

    Post-op Blues

It is all good hon, if you ever need to talk or get out of the house, let me know. Also I have been going to the Sharp meetings if you want to come. Actually going to the nutrition meeting tonight. Glad you are healing well, I am feeling okay physically myself, just get worn out easy.

    Post-op Blues

Hey Blashlee! Great and random to find you here. If you don't remember I had surgery the same day @ Sharp. I totally get where you are coming from. Honestly most food smells are making me nauseous, but I still missing variety and actually chewing things. Overall I have been super emotional and I feel bad for my mom and brother with my highs and lows.

    Any April Sleevers?

hello all, been lurking on the forums for a while but decided i finally just need to start posting. Was sleeved last Monday, April 6th. Felling good so far, haven't had any problems with anything I have tried, just constant bubbly guts. Haven't been able to quite reach my protein/water goals but getting closer every day. I have my first post op on wed but want to start going to the gym (at least a treadmill). The doc wants to send me back to work in two weeks, so I want to try and get some endurance back before. Have any of you tried working out yet?
