  1. The stall is normal. We all have them. The weight gain could be a simple as water. So hang in there and press forward. Keep up the good work. You will break through it!
  2. From what i am hearing they are normal. Our body is just adjusting- at least that is what i am told. I have been on a stall for 11 days now. I don't like it as i am sure you don't but it is something we have to go through, just like the others who stall. Keep up the good work and press forward.
  3. That is fantastic.. wish you the best! Remember one day at a time and keep your head up!
  4. Thanks .. that was informative. Just another reason that i feel i've made the right choice.
  5. mine was under 1 1/2 hours.. Good luck! Walk and sip!
  6. i can so relate. i was 224 at my first doctor visit and after 2 1/2 weeks post op i reached that 199. It was great getting there. however it is ten days later and i am stalled right there. i know it will pass but boy do i look forward to the scale moving down once again!.. You are doing a great job.. keep up the great work!

that is fantastic.. stay true to yourself and the heck with any one that will interfere with your plans of being the new you. Keep up the good work!

I think i need to replace it with one that goes down on a regular basis! ..lol And yes i get on that darn thing everyday. I know i shouoldn't be i can't help myself... i know from the blogs that this is normal but who said we have to follow normal? 13. well i am right there with you. i was also sleeved on the 12th of march ...been following the diet progression as set plan for me however on the 29th of march i hit a stall and haven't been able to get another ounce off.. sure hope the stall ends soon cause i just want to cry! since the surgery i have lost 13 lbs. :-(
  14. exciting! You'll do great! Congrats!
  15. I also have hit a stall this week .. 4 days and the same weight .. today is three weeks out for me. All i can think is "Is this really possible?" Do you really stall in your second week out? I need top start losing again..
  16. Congratulations! Today starts the rest of your life. Grab hold and use your tool to move on and make a new you!
  17. I feel really bad ... i can't imagine how you must have felt, waking up and finding that you had not been sleeved. I am so sorry. However the 6 mths wait will go faster then you think and at least you can heal from the scars and know when the surgery is done it will be right. try and keep up the good work and continue to work at losing the weight .. when you have the surgery you will be that much ahead of the game. Good luck to you!
  18. You know your parents love you but they are blocked because of fear. it is something that was sprung on them and they had no time to adjust to the idea. I would confess your love for them but tell them you are following through with what you have started. Carry on with your plans.. as you come back safe and sound and begin to loose you weight they will realize that they worried for nothing. I know it will be a harder road now, but you already made the hard decision to do this now just stick with it! As for your husband, now that is a different story!!
  19. Everyone is different. If your doctors are happy with your progress and you are still losing then keep doing what you are doing!
  20. just remember the scale is just a tool to measure by. it surely can go up and down according to water gain or loss so just keep up the good work and the 2 pounds (of probably water) will be gone before you know it!
  21. that is very exciting and encouraging!.. congratulations... a true success story!
  22. the best of luck with you both entering surgery today. i did pray for you both and am looking to hear good things.
  23. Holy Crap!.. i dont know what to say to that Joe, other then thanks for preparing me. I think i better stay off the scale. I don't want to see a weight gain. I think i would just sit in a corner and cry. well that said I know it isn't the end of the weight loss so keep up the good work plug along and you will see a loss soon.
  24. Amy.. i know exactly how you are feeling and i will pray for you.. i just was sleeved also and in much pain .. when i pray for me i will also pray for you .. we certainly need prayers.. take care try to relax. you can do this!
