  2. My highest weight (HW) was 340. I was required to lose 17 lbs before surgery following south beach...ended up losing 45 before surgery (took me 5 months to do it)
  3. Exactly 9 months ago I weighed 100 lbs more than I do today!!!! It has not always been easy, but SO WORTH IT!!! HW 1/28/13 340lbs SW 6/25/13 295lbs CW 9/28/13 240lbs
  4. I felt worse weeks 2 and 3 than I did week 1, just be patient and it will all pay off!
  5. You are not alone! We did not get to the point of being hugely overweight by making good choices! I am 3 months out and struggle every day to do the right thing. You just have to decide which life you want. I tell myself food and fat with no life or healthy choices, healthy body, lots of life. Take it one day at a time! You can do this!

  7. For those of you suffering through the pre op diet or just out of surgery, I want to share some of the things I heard when I got to work this morning, 98 lbs lighter than I was 9 months ago!!! "How much more do you need to lose? you look great!" "You just look cuter and cuter everyday" "Love the dress" You can do this and it will all be worth it, I was one who thought I had made a mistake for the first 4 weeks or so. At this point,, I could not be happier!!!

  11. I am 10 weeks out today and I can drink 24 oz. water pretty quickly now. Probably in 5-10 minutes. It gets better!

  13. I am 10 weeks out and have had ribs. No problem here, but everyone is different.
  14. I did have one and Julia and I had the same surgeon 1day apart. Guess the DR. Does what is best for you as an individual .

  16. These protein bars are delish!!! Originally found Them at 7-11 and ordered them from Vitamin Shoppe online for much cheaper! 13g protein 9 carbs, 200 calories.

  18. 9 weeks post op and I find I need to eat every 2 hours or so. It's kind of annoying because when the hunger strikes its pretty annoying. How often do others eat?

  20. I thought about that too! Except it wasn't till after my sleeve! Time will tell, huh? For me what's done is done and for now I am livin' it up!!
  21. I am 5'10" DOS 6/25 HW: 340 SW: 295 CW: 251 44 lbs down since surgery 89 down since January 11 more lbs. till I hit 100 lbs down!
  22. I agree on the Propel Zero. I love it, it's the only one that I don't have to dilute with water. All the rest are too sweet!
