  1. I am 4 and a half months out. I went to see Jay Z and Justin Timberlake and got very drunk after like 3 drinks so my tolerance is way
  2. Well I'm working out now and have been about 2 months now. I have to admit, I feel better and I've lost 50 lbs since surgery on Mar 13th.
  3. March 13th here!! I'm down 50 pounds and a hard fought 50 too!! I've been working out hard for 2 months now
  4. I am the same way 5 weeks out and not motivated to exercise. I think I will start with walking and swimming.

  6. Anyone in DC or in Prince Georges county? I had my surgery at Washington Hospital Center (WHC). I work in DC and live in MD. Looking for a support group in DC or PG. We may even have to start our own. WHC has a support group the first Saturday of every month but I think it is for pre-op folks. I am going to go in June just to see.
  7. I am right there with you. I am 8 weeks post op and only down 35 pounds. I have went back to full liquids mixed with some protein (meat) hoping that will kick in. I also have to kick up my cardio.

  12. I'm one month post op and its still hard to do everything: water, vitamins, food, exercise. I think I'm still afraid of eating too much and am probably not eating enough. I'm down 25 lbs. I've only been walking waiting for green light to do more

  14. Down 20 pounds. Next week will really focus on protein been drinking my fluids but 60-70 gms of protein is hard to get in. Also will to focus more on cardio this week. At the casino 2note having a Long Island Iced tea first drink since pre op.
  15. Today was my1st post op appointment. Down 16 lbs can move to next phase of diet MEAT!!! Yes!!!
  16. We have a Board meeting tomorrow so I needed to come in today to make sure everything is OK. My first day back at work. Drank 2 protein shakes, had sugar free jello and yogurt, decaf coffee and walter
  17. Surgery was one week ago today. I am on my way back to work. How long do u stay off work. Everyone being nosy wondering where I am and what I'm doing. They had a breakfast which I am missing by going in later. How did post op folks deal with co-workers, workplace issues, etc?
  18. Sleeved on Wednesday, March 13th. 5th day after surgery. Feeling good overall. Gas comes and goes, heartburn starting to subside. Walked slowly on treadmill on Sunday. When I put the treadmill on an incline, feel some relief from gas and heartburn, so I'm going to try that. I'm taking one day at a time. Good luck to all this week sleevers and hope all my March post-op folks are doing OK. We are each other's support system and I thank all of you and this site for being there for me!! This site is my new Facebook!!
  19. RIP Fred aka Lifesaveremt!! God bless your family through this difficult time!! Your strength and determination to change your life is and will be an inspiration to us all!! Blood clots are very serious!! They gave me meds for blood clotting and put sleeves around my legs to monitor blood clotting !! May God protect all of us!! Good luck to all sleevers this week and all March post op sleevers!!!

  22. Had surgery on Wednesday 3/13 came home on Thursday evening. This is Day 3 still gassy very little nausea. Drinking water and crystal light. Should I start protein shakes today? Yogurt? Havent even weighed myself yet. Will buy a scale this weekend.
