didn't your surgeon give you a post op plan?

I had my surgery on 3/11 feel fantastic even exercising!! My dr said clear liquids for 4 days then protien shakes only for two weeks,! It is very difficult for me other diets don't seem so restrictive when I called and asked my dr why it was because they felt this diet would give the best results! I would love to have a yogurt or sugar free pudding anything that you can eat with a spoon at this point. It seems the diets vary by dr so check with your dr office to get their recommendation!

Yes I have post op plan from Dr. and will follow. Just wanted to hear from others.

I was on liquids for 2 weeks post op. Meaning low fat soups strained. Broth, sugar free popsicles, protein shakes, sugar free jello..... etc. it was not easy for me the first 2 weeks to get in all the required liquids. When the swelling went down everything got easier!

I am 3 days Post op also, I am on clear liquids, with the exception of meal replace ment shakes, 100 gm,s of protein. Plus 64 oz, of liquids. I feel great geting ready to go for a walk. The best to all.
