  1. Love that idea. Having surgery July 22. Going shopping for beads and containers tomorrow. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  2. Yes it does. I was diagnosed with mild sleep apnea. My pcp let me decide info wanted a CPAP or not. I decided not. Then my surgeon read the results and said no CPAP no surgery. Hoping I won't have to use it too long. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  3. I do have a humidifier. The dry mouth isn't as bad as it was the first couple of nights. Maybe it will get better with time. I can't imagine what it would be like without the humidifier! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  4. I've only been using my CPAP for about 10 days. I have the pillows. They don't bother my nose so much, but I wake up with dry mouth and a headache. I think I'm actually sleeping less than I did without it. But, I am breathing better all day. I have asthma so maybe it's helping that? Going to call tomorrow to see if I can do anything to get rid of dry mouth and headaches. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  5. Besides all the health reasons, seeing the picture taken at Disney World that is my profile pic. I honestly didn't realize how fat I really was until I saw that picture. I never look in mirrors or get my picture taken. It was a real shock! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  6. Hey, Bluto, thanks for the laugh. Actually, I'm thinking food dreams at this stage might be pornographic! LOL Sent from my iPhone using VST
  7. Welcome, Lisa. I'm on the 22nd also. Right now I'm just feeling excited. Maybe the nervousness will come when it's closer! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  8. Not having surgery until July 22, but my surgeon's goal for me is 160. I am 5'2" and 160 sounds high. I'm 67 so maybe he makes it higher for old ladies??? I'm thinking 130 would make me happy. Anyway, I haven't been under 200 for so long, it's hard to see myself at either weight. I started out at 257 and am 224 now. I start my two week pre-op on Monday. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  9. Sooo good. Thanks for sharing. I added a little garlic powder and a teaspoon of Worcester sauce, as I always put that in my old recipe. Sent from my iPhone using VST

  15. I can't sleep with my mouth open. The noise the air makes through my mouth wakes me up. Last night was better, so maybe it will get better with time. I am happy with just the pillows under my nostrils. No clostrophobia and easy to sleep on my side. Thanks everyone for the help. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  16. Thanks. I have my humidifier up to 6 which is as high as it will go. I'll just hang in there and hope it goes away as yours did. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  17. I've only had my CPAP for five days, I have the small mask with the under the nostril pillows. It is causing dry mouth. Is this normal? I am waking up more with dry mouth than I ever did from sleep apnea. Sent from my iPhone using VST
