Because my dr appts have to be four weeks apart for six months, that makes my last appt in May. My first appt in November did count. I got the papers the dr has to fill out each month from my ins company. There are seven pages, but it is actually six months. Then I have to wait for ins approval to go through. The financial person at the bariatric center said that can take anywhere from one week to one month. All the waiting stinks, but I am learning so much and have lost 15 lbs so far just on the diet instructions my dietician gave me. Sent from my iPhone using VST

Thanks sister. Don't have surgery until July, but hair loss is a huge worry for me. In the last year I've lost most of my eyebrows. My forehead is getting bigger every year. I really can't afford to lose any hair. Going to look into this!

What great pics. And what a special journey to take together. I have a thin hubby who has never said a negative thing about my weight gain during 46 years together. Having surgery in July. He is so supportive. Has attended all appointments and support group meetings with me. He's the best!

You look so good. Just wondering -- did you have skin removal surgery? I'm 67 and thinking all the skin I'll have will have to be cut off! Can't imagine rolling it up and stuffing it in my undies! LOL

I'm 67 and already have very thin hair. Don't get sleeved until July. Very concerned about hair loss as you can already see my scalp in places. I bought biotin, but didn't know what dosage to take. I'm seriously considering a wig until I figure out what will happen.

That was supposed to be uneventful recovery. I hate when my phone thinks it knows what I want to say and changes what I type! LOL

If Greek yogurt is too sweet, try Fage zero%. It is plain. I add vanilla and a pkg. of sweetener, honey or a spoonful of sugar free jam? I like it that way.

Been going through a rough time for a week. I am not due for surgery until July. Been following a pre-surgery diet from my dietician. Lost 15 lbs. since December. This week I have just been eating everything in sight. I want to stop!!! I get weighed on Wednesday and am pretty surrounded will have my first gain since I started this process. Mad at myself for my loss of control.
