  1. I too set my MFP goal to 700. Anytime I go over it i also get a lot more protein 80-100 grams, so I think that's more important than the extra calories.
  2. Surgery date 7/1/13 SW. 231 SUrgW:221 CW: 208 Height: 5'8 I too have problems getting all my Water in. I'm getting about 40-50 oz a day I haven't started much exercise other than gardening and mowing the law. I hate exercise! Lol I'm eating normal foods now and not having any problems. I'm trying to stay around 700 calories a day while still getting 70 grams of Protein which has been challenging.

    3 weeks out...at a stall!

Thanks. I know I just need to be patient but I'm glad to know I'm not alone. :-)
  5. I had my surgery July 1st. Lost 10 lbs right away but have not lost a lb in almost 10 days. A matter of fact, I've gained two lbs! Ahhhh! So frustrating! Anyone else have this problem?
  6. Oh no, so sorry to hear. Is this something that is easily treated? Will it hinder your recovery for a long period of time? Hoping for the best for you!!!
  7. Oh gosh, PF Changs... My favorite! That will be tough. :-( I too struggle with the protein. My doctor said to get at least 70 grams but yet they want me to stay under 500 calories. I'm sorry, but that's impossible on a puréed diet. They're crazy. Lol I'm eating eggs, tuna, chicken and Greek yogurt and my protein shakes.
  8. How are all the July 1st sleevers doing?? I'm doing good but struggling with hunger. I've been on puréed foods since Sunday and I'm dying for some real food!! My first week was rough but since then I swear I'm starting to think this did not work for me. Lol. I have no problems getting food or Water down and I actually get hungry. Not head hunger but real hunger.
  9. Try the ready to drink "Lean Shakes" from GNC. They are amazing!! I crave them!!! The only problem I'm having is that I don't get "full" from drinking. (My surgery was July 1st)
  10. We are just about in the same boat. Our stats are very similar and I am having same issue. I'm almost two weeks out and have been loosing at least 2 lbs a day since surgery. Then today I get on scale and have gained 2.5 lbs. Woah! I guess that's why they said not to weigh everyday. ???? I have a good friend that had the surgery last July. I remember her having several plateau's. one that lasted a whole month. However, just 6 months out she was 10 lbs from her goal weight which is awesome!
  11. I've been on a puréed diet and the best thing I've had so far is either mashed potatoes with shredded cheddar for Protein or hard boiled eggs Blended with a little light mayo. I need suggestions too because that's getting old.

    1 week post-op stats!

My surgery was July 1st. My weight was 231 2 week pre op 221 day of surgery 213 today I'm definitely not getting enough water or protein but I'm hoping that will get better. I ate real food for the first time today. Purée egg salad. I was wonderful! For dinner I'm having 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt. Yum. Lol :-)
  13. I was told to not take any vitamins until my 2 week post op visit. I too am worried I'm not getting enough fluids. Anything I drink feels like its getting stuck in my chest. It even takes me 10 minutes to get my 15 ml of pain meds down. I am also having horrible gas pains that keep me from sleeping more than an hour at a time. I just keep telling myself this is only day 4...this WILL get better soon!
