Hi, everyone I'm glad to be here..I realized that I've got over 100 posts but I never really introduced myself here! I am a female, my name is Stefanie and I am from New Mexico (it is in the USA... I know some states do not realize that.. NM is by TX, AZ, NV, CO, and UT) I am 32, married (same sex), no children....yet...,I was sleeved on February 25, 2013!!! So this Monday will be 2 weeks that I will have been sleeved!!! I am excited to be on this journey! I am a grad student- I am working on my masters in mental health counseling and will graduate in June and finish my internship/hours in September!!! Very excited about that!! I am 5'5" Preop diet-317 Preop- day of surgery-307 After sugery- 319!! (Was very sad) Post op now- 295.4(today) It took the whole 1st week to lose the fluid/water weight from surgery! Just this week I started seeing actual weight loss which was very very difficult for me--- I felt like the whole 1st week was awful as I did not lose any weight other than the fluids the dr put in me! lol Well that's it!! I'm happy to be here and I look forward to the journey!! Ohh and if u haven't checked out the closed group Facebook page yet..... U should!!!! Hi for me_ it was edg-- or something like that They lightly sedated me I don't remember it- even tho I was terrified- and the do a scope firm the throat w a camera to see if u have hernias or ulcers or anything-- that's how I found out I had. I knew I'd have to have it repaired found out w the pre scope-- but I'm still having ALOT of pressure in the upper tummy area and chest area How do u know if its acid? I've never really had that issue but this pain I have now is realllly uncomfortable Sent from my iPhone using VST
