  3. Well I'm 16 days postop and didn't even have to do the two week liquid diet. I lose 14 pounds preop but before surgery gained 4 pounds of Water weight due to cycle. So far I went from 232 to 208, and Dr Li was fantastic. I love her and am so grateful. Sent from my iPod touch using VST

  7. I have my appointment on Friday. I have to admit I have tried things on a demitasse spoon like yogurt and cottage cheese, even a cracker or two and have not had any problem at all but felt rather guilty. I stopped and last night I used my crockpot and seasoned chicken breast thoroughly hen cooked it down and added Teriyaki Sauce to it. I drained the chicken broth and drank 5 oz of it. I felt sooo much better once I did that. Sent from my iPod touch using VST

  21. The sleep study is to make sure no sleep apnea, EKG and cardiac eval is to make sure heart is strong enough for procedure, psych eval is to make sure your mindset is right and you have the support you need, EGD is to make sure there is no Hpylori bacteria and no ulcers, blood work is for deficiencies. Abdomen ultrasound and chest X-ray is to also look at any abnormalities in chest or stomach. Sent from my iPod touch using VST
  22. I had blood work and urinalysis done, a sleep study, cardiac eval and EKG, abdomen ultrasound and chest X-ray, and psych eval. Some people have to have and EGD but I already had one within the year. Sent from my iPod touch using VST

I have the psych consult, EKG with Cardiac eval, abdomen ultrasound, chest X-ray, per-op class, and weigh in all scheduled on the 14th of March. I need to lose 10 pounds. I am very concerned about being able to lose the 10 pounds. I have a 2 week liquid pre op diet but no surgery dated scheduled as of yet. I need suggestions on how to lose the 10 pounds. Please help!!!!
