Hi everyone! From Long Island New York. Date is march 20 at st Charles with dr angstadt.

March 20 right here! Starting 2 weeks liquid diet on Wednesday. VERY excited!!!

I,too, only told a few people. And even then, the long silence afterwards made me a little sorry that I said anything. It's private and personal and very few people understand. But remember this.... Nothing changes if nothing changes. So we need to have tunnel vision and keep on going! They can all pick their jaws up off the floor when we are done!

Omg I love allll of you!!! My surgery is march 20... Getting close. I start the liquid diet this Wednesday. I've decided to tell only 2 ppl in work. My boss and a good friend. My boss is very positive about it. My "good friend" hasn't even asked me anything more about the surgery. I can tell from the look in her eyes that day that I told her that she was thinking I had lost my mind. A select FEW family members know. These are the only ppl I am telling for the exact reasons you all expressed. Damn! It's no ones business. The more personal stuff you divulge, the more you leave yourself open for criticism.

Long Island!

My insurance is empire bcbs and I'm completely covered because my doctor is in-network. If he was out-of-network, they would have paid 90% and I would have been responsible for 10%. . Maybe give them a call and ask. This way there won't be any surprises

All the girls in my office are doing shakes, Jenny Craig, weight watchers soooo my 2 weeks pre op on the shakes are covered and then I will say I went right into an Atkins plan. My feeling is this is personal. No need to tell everyone so I can hear their opinions. Only a very small handful of ppl know and I'm happy with that

My doc said 2-3 weeks. ???? I hope?
