  1. Felt like only a second had passed for me. I woke up feeling groggy but ok, with some pressure in my chest.
  2. I used my roxicet to help with nighttime pain and I could sleep in my bed from about 5 days post op. Maybe try some pain meds before bed for a few days?
  3. You'll do awesome, good luck!
  4. I'm looking forward to it too! Starting tomorrow I'm so over cream Soups and Protein shakes! Thanks everyone for the replies! I'll just eat a few bites and try to watch for fullness.
  5. I only crave sugar if I eat sugar. Like if I have one cookie I want 3 more but if I don't touch a cookie im ok. Maybe you can try some healthy sweet things to help? Fruit or a flavored yogurt maybe.
  6. Hi all! Starting pureeds and can have Greek yogurt, just wondering how much I should be eating of it? I'm 2 weeks post op. I think it's a 5 oz container.
  7. It sucks, I hear ya. You just have to power through it as best u can, knowing it's only temporary helps. I'd like to know too how long you are on liquids. I was on a preop diet then 1 week clears and am nearing the end of my 1 week full liquids.
  8. Aw! I'm so sorry you are feeling so bad. I'm only 9 days post op but my question would be, does your dr know how nauseous you are after eating? That sounds terrible and not right. I hope u find some answers soon and feel better. I think it's great u are working out. Don't be discouraged. I find planning ahead is my friend, so maybe try that if you're worried about eating poorly. Every once in awhile a treat is ok in my opinion so don't beat yourself up too much.
  9. I'm having trouble too. About 1 week out and 48 oz is a struggle all day. Feel full all the time. It sucks! I hope it gets easier.
  10. Me three! Eggs next Friday!
  11. Yeah they told me my sleeve was most likely tight and swollen making my drinking very difficult. Good to know it gets better soon!
  12. Thank you AngiD that was very inspirational!
  13. Aw thanks Lorie! I'm feeling better this morning. Already got in 12 oz of liquid so on track for a good day that way. Have my 1 week follow up tomorrow with dr Eid so hopefully I will be moved to full liquids and start to recover properly. I know the future will be brighter, just hard to see that at this stage of the game!
  14. Poor thing! Hope u feel better soon!
  15. I get nauseous if I take too many pills at once. I space them out a bit. Yeah sleep is hard to come by the first few days but it gets better quick. I've been sleeping in bed since day 4 with the help of my pain meds (on my back with extra pillows). Hang in there friend!
  16. Whoops sorry for the double post
  17. Thanks guys! I'm getting hydrated and dammit this iv hurts! It's on the inside of my lower wrist-owie!! Hopefully I'll be feeling better soon. Thank u for all the support, means so much to me!
  18. Thanks guys! I'm getting hydrated and dammit this iv hurts! It's on the inside of my lower wrist-owie!! Hopefully I'll be feeling better soon. Thank u for all the support, means so much to me!
  19. Thanks everyone, good to know better days are on the horizon. My emotions are so out of whack right now, it doesn't help.
  20. Thank you guys! That lamb is adorable and made me smile.
  21. As hard as I've tried I've been unable to get down enough fluids, so back to the hospital for iv fluids. And I have terrible veins so it should be real fun. I just feel so sick and defeated. I'm 6 days post op. I've been crying and I think it'd just cause I didn't think it would be this hard. My mom really gave me no support which hurt. My hubby just seemed confused by my crying. I feel like no one gets it, so glad I have this board to post on. Just looking for someone to tell me it gets better soon and not worse.
  22. Thanks all for the kind words! So 2 more days and I should be feeling better. Good news!
  23. Day 5 post op and feeling not so hot. Anyone tell me when they started feeling better? I'm sick of drinking, tired, sore, and hate being around my family with food. Fri I can most likely switch to full liquids which will be a blessing. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated
