  1. I'm 5 weeks out and have lost 26lbs which is 13% of my body weight. It looks like more when you figure it up that way. It's way easier to squeeze into my clothes! I've been given the green light to eat regular foods. I'm taking it slow just don't want to fall into bad habits. I've never gone 5 weeks without eating chips or drinking diet coke so I'm gonna see how long I can go without and try to break the habit all together.
  2. Tomorrow I will be 4 weeks out, have lost 23lbs but have been stalled almost 3 weeks. Really??
  3. Terrible news. My prayers go out to his family.

    Newly sleeved 2.28.13

I was also sleeved on feb 28th. I have only lost 11lbs since. Like most of you I have trouble with the gas pains after I eat and drink but find its getting better. I look forward to hearing how everyone else is doing.

    Puree Stage - Recipe/ideas

How many weeks post op do you suggest waiting before starting this stage? I did not get good direction from from my Dr.
  6. All the diets are so different and I didn't get a real good direction from my Doctor, I'm on full liquids now at 2 weeks post op. when can I start doing mushy, puréed ? I'm water logged at this point. Thanks for any advice that you have to offer!
  7. I understand.. I was just sleeved on 2/28 and sometimes find myself looking at the scale 2-3 times a day!
  8. I'm 6 days post op and counting. I am starting to feel better especially after having a come to Jesus with my Dr and husband. Guess I'm like a kid, threaten to put me back in the hospital if I don't get with the program seemed to work great. I was having so much pain with drinking that I guess I didn't realize it but I had pretty much stopped drinking which soon lead to me being very confused and not really urinating. So I pulled my crayons out, made a chart as to when and how much of what to drink and feel so much better. It is even getting easier to drink. I'm so glad I put my big girl panties back on which may I add are a little looser since I have lost 13 lbs post op and a total of 20 lbs since my first weigh in.
