Hello everyone it's been awhile yesterday was my 6 month anniversary. Was 240 now I'm 192 I think it's great not losing too fast or slow. But to answer your question my hair actually is growing more idk y but I'm not stressing don't worry I think u will be fine . Good luck

I was sleeved on 1-8-13 surgery weight 240 I am now 195. I've been at this weight for 6 weeks now I'm so disappointed. My regular pcp said that this is normal. My nutritionist said the same. If I lose any faster they would worry but I'm thinking I should be at least 180-175 what do u think ??? I'm blessed I know too have made it through with no complications n I'm just human feeling like I needed to get this off my chest I've been holding it in for a long time now.Does anyone else feel this way???

Idk about u guys but I'm using this to get some much needed rest . I'm getting foot rubs n shoulder massages loving it . I say milk it for awhile shoot u deserve a break n spooning takes me back to the first time we met. He's always been good but it just feels good to be waited on a little plus when I'm ready it's going to be GOOD! Lol

Hi I'm blessings I wanted u to know that everyone has been where u r the Protein Shakes r going to take awhile for u to handle. After I got sleeved every smell or taste made me want to gag. If j have to hold your nose so that u won't smell it just might work n take very small sips. I held my nose but I got it in . Everyone is different I wish u luck n let me know how it turns out.

U are so welcome Ms. Virtue the ice pops are great n I chew them too makes u feel like your chewing on substance those liquids will get boring. I know exactly what your talking about when u say your taste buds change . I used to love the juices n now I'm all Water so we all change n don't get me started on smells I run from things I used to love lol. I'm not a big coffee drinker either especially since I walked into Starbucks n saw the prices I'm good on that. I've been eating some strange things I actually love Jerky n u get your Protein in so try that it really helped me I couldn't keep anything down as far as meats but for some reason my sleeve loved it. My pcp loved the idea she just said watch how much cause it does have sodium but it comes in turkey n teriyaki BBQ it's great . Lady of virtue try diet v8 splash diet cranberry juice ,all Decaf tea or coffee they r all good. U can also have sugar free ice pops. I'm really into Water now everything else doesn't satisfy my thirst.

I'm 6 wks out n I still feel that little pain in my left side but I use a pillow on that but my tummy doesn't hurt at all when I sleep on it but we r all different if it hurts try a soft pillow.

Only 5 people know I had surgery my 2 children , husband n 2 cousins who r also my BFF.I love the sleeve it gives u time to lose weight at a good pace it's steady n not so drastic. U control the weight loss. I'm at stage 3 n eating is just getting good . I found some incredible vegan kale chips at GNC n they r great. It's so good for u n it helps with everything u guys should really give them a try. My pre op weight was 240 I'm down to 210.

Hi Jeff n yes it's been 6 wks. I'm in the same place as u. Who would have thought we would b chilling like we r right now. On jan 8th I was 240 lbs. now I'm 207 n feeling GREAT. Now we have to keep doing this good work. I actually found some pants that I couldn't fit the wrong size n refused to get a bigger pair was ASHAMED to go back to the store. I put those pants on today OK. How wonderful I feel even with my cold it made me forget about being sick. U keep doing u don't let NO ONE keep u from your goals n u handled that party like a champ. Holla back

My start weight 240 n now I'm 215 but I'm stuck at 215 for a week now. It's been really cold n I can't walk outside . I do dance but I guess that's not enough. But I'm loving this I've never felt better I quit smoking in sept. something I never could have done. But God is good I feel so blessed.
