  3. i've cheated too but not in quantity but in the items i chose. I did have a bit of fried chicken. it hurt my stomach. i learned. no more treats for me.

    soft mushy foods. my surgery was Jan. 16. cream of soup w/protein powder -suggested size 8 oz. I had about 6 oz without feeling too full or depriving myself. I drank tea, decaf anything warm, my stomach could not stand cold or even room temp. broth was my friend. 1/4 cup applesauce w/protein. or 1/4 cup low fat, well cooked beans. that was my breakfast lunch or dinner choices. when I didn't feel like having any of these, i would have a protein shake instead.
