I would just leave it alone. I'm sure that at some point it may come up in casual conversation and you can choose to talk about it. Why make your weight, whatever it is the focus of you? I'm sure you are a wonderful, brave person with so much more interesting things about you than your weight.

As someone who has had both weight loss surgery...and lost over 160 # AND had reconstructive plastic surgery "for cosmetic" reasons.... Well,let's just say I would have no problems letting a toxic judgemental friend like this go. I love my new body and am grateful I had this help in turning my health, my looks and my whole life around. I have lots of friends who are thrilled for me. It has been my experience that self confident, attractive women are the most supportive, detractors seem to have their own "issues" and liked me better obese as they feel better about themselves if I stayed fatter then them.

Your 'friend'...and I use the term loosely...isn't much of a friend. Her post is all about her. She has zero right to tell you how to live your life or how to live in your body. You need to do what's right for you, and drop the deadweight (her). She's not much of a friend if she can't accept that this is for your health.

At the risk of sounding a bit brash...f**k your "friend". She sounds as if she's dealing with her own "fat acceptance" issues. You don't need those kind of people in your life. She's selfish. She created a whole blog post about YOUR surgery and made it about HER feelings. She doesn't care about you. She was never a friend. Cut that dead weight loose now. You'll feel much lighter when you do.

So not telling the world my personal business is why I have failed at my WLS??!?!? Darnitall! Why didn't someone tell me that a year ago when I had my surgery done?? I guess it's time to start spreading the news because having only lost 111 pounds so far, I'm clearly doing something wrong.

I don't get the. "No one knows except..." Then spout off 5 people. If 5 people know, it's no secret and you can bet 56+ people know and are whispering.
My spouse knows because he is my next of kin if something happened while I was in hospital

Besides the 3buckchuck, the soy chorizo is to DIE for! I brown a whole thing of it with some peppers and onions and take out what I want and throw it in with one whole egg and one egg white and top it with TJ's double roasted or chipotle garlic salsa and I am in heaven!
I love their mustards and spices as well. Have the seasons 21 on veggies all the time.
LOVE me some Trader Joe's!
