I'm 3 days post op. Home and on full liquids now. Made the mistake and tried some Cream of Wheat. Too soon. It's just sitting on my chest. I'm sticking to broth and jello!

Hey all. I am 4 weeks post op. I have been at a stall since week 3. I am 5'5"and now weigh 219lbs. I am down only 15 lbs in 4weeks. My Protein intake is at about 54 gms per day. My caloric intake is at about 400-700 cals per day. My Fluid intake is about 48-52 oz per day.
I need some encouragement. click on "like" to give me a boost, or post something positive. Thanks to this forum for always being supportive! You all rock!

queenp160 got a reaction from TD41 in Anxiety level red!
Hey,
Anxiety like that cones from a real place. If you have a therapist, I would encourage you to talk to him or her. You could also talk to your PCP but make sure you understand or can cope with your anxiety, surgery or no surgery.
I agree with the previous poster, too. Keep in mind what brought you to this place in your journey. If you can still identify with that, I would proceed. If not, take a step back and reevaluate your decision.
Best of luck!

queenp160 reacted to gloomingloo in sleevers in Chicago southland
I'm interested in finding a support group in Chicago or within a drivable area. Surely there are more sleevers here! It seems like the support groups in the area are through the bariatric physicians who do them. I'm self-pay, Mexico.

Hello I'm from Chicago. I'm more than willing to help out in what I can. I'm nine months post op and -93lbs. I love my sleeve. I really don't go to my support group meetings at my surgeons office. I know shame on me, but I've went a few times and I just prefer to come here and ask away. Besides at the actual support group meetings a lot of people have had gb. So feel free to ask away.
